After the Camping World Truck Series race last weekend at Darlington Speedway, the Thor Sport number 88 truck driven by Matt Crafton was disqualified from the race after tHe post race inspection for a violation of the front body height. NASCAR stated that the fright of the front end of the truck was too low.

Thor Sport has appealed the ruling.

On May 12 a three member panel of the National Motorsports Appeals Panel overturned the disqualification and has restored Crafton’s finishing position in the top five.

When Crafton’s finish was disqualified, he was placed at the back of the field in 36th place of the 36 truck field. He can now reclaim his original fifth place finish.

Crafton brings many years of racing experience to the track this weekend when the CWTS travels to Kansas Speedway for some Saturday night racing.
