Shortly before his death in 2016, George Michael filmed a documentary about himself – his life and music.

On June 22, Sony Music Entertainment and Trafalgar Releasing will present that documentary “George Michael Freedom Uncut” in a one day world wide release.

A deeply private man, Michael opens up abut his private life and his music in what has become a tribute to the legacy of the award winning entertainer.

Grossly underrated, George Michael is one of the greatest musicians to come out of Great Britain.

Michael co-directed the film with David Austin.

As he weaves his way between the public musical life and the private personal life, Michael is joined by Stevie Wonder, Sir Elton John, Ricky Gervais, Nile Rogers, Mark Ronson, Tracey Emin, Liam Gallagher, Mary J. Blige, Jean Paul Gaultier, James Corden, Tony Bennett, Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington, Linda Evangelista, and Tatjana Patitz.
