When it debuted in 1998, “Ragtime” won a Tony Award for composers Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens.
Masterworks Broadway is releasing a three album anniversary edition of the cast recording to celebrate 25 years of the musical. The album cover features the Statue of Liberty and a red, white, and blue cover.
Included in the package is a 20 page book and the three vinyl LP’s in red, white, and blue; all encased in a hardbound slipcase.
“Ragtime” is a story of American life in the early 20th century through the view of three different class of families – in New Rochelle, Harlem, and the Lower East Side.
