Anyone who has ever attended a Broadway production has seen “Playbill”, the programs for the various productions.

“Playbill” and The Times Square Alliance have joined forces to create the Grand Gallery Exhibit.  But this is no ordinary art exhibit, the installation will be scattered about Times Square and feature “Playbill” covers 10 feet high depicting 21 productions currently playing on Broadway.

Alex Newell and Jessica Vosk will be performing at the April 7 event that kicks off the are installation.  Also scheduled to appear at the opening event are Times Square Alliance President Tom Harris, Playbill Vice President and Chief Operation Office Alex Birst, Broadway League President Charlotte St. Martin, and Donnie Kehr form “Jersey Boys”. 

The “Playbill Sing for Hope Piano” used in the event will also be adorned with hundreds of “Playbill” covers.

After the opening event, cast members from the various shows on display will be available for photo opportunities including Adrianna Hicks, Keri René Fuller, Joy Woods,  Jonathan Cable, CJ Pawlikowski, Tristen Buettel, John Gardner, Joey LaVarco, and Michelle Rombola.

Included in the giant “Playbill” covers are QR codes for the  Playbill Vault Page and purchasing tickets.  Productions included in the installation are “Aladdin”, “The Book of Mormon”, “Come from Away”, “Company”, “Dear Evan Hanson”, “Funny Girl”, “Hadestown”, “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child”, “Jersey Boys”, “The Lion King”, “The Little Prince”, “Little Shop of Horrors”, “MJ The Musical”, “Moulin Rouge! The Musical”, “Mr. Saturday Night”, “Mrs. Doubtfire”, “The Phantom of the Opera”, “The Play that Goes Wrong”, “Plaza Suite, “SIX: The Musical”, and “Tina: The Tina Turner Musical”.

Maps will be available for Broadway fans to find the giant covers.
