The Confederate flag is no longer acceptable on the grounds of NASCAR tracks, but there are three things that a race fan is guaranteed to find at every NASCAR race – the pre-race prayer, the national anthem, and a salute to the troops and veterans.

NASCAR driver Kurt Busch is taking it a bit further with a contest aimed just for veterans, members of the military, and their spouses.

The driver of the 23XI Racing number 45 car has joined up with Embrace Home Loans to offer a chance to win $25,000 for housing expenses.

Embrace Home Loans will provide the grand prize in June – Busch himself will be presenting the check – but 23XI and Busch will be offering some weekly prizes beginning April 8.

Embrace is a new sponsor for Busch’s number 45 car and 23XI Racing.  The Loan company will also appear on Busch’s team mate Bubba Wallace’s number 23 car for selected events.
