Much of his career, Kanye West has been surrounded by controversy of one kind or another. The latest is that after being invited to perform at the annual Grammy Awards on April 3, Ye (as he is now calling himself) has been uninvited to the annual music extravaganza.

The rapper’s representative confirmed the news but gave no further details as to why Ye will no longer be a part of the ceremonies. Representatives for the Recording Academy have also not commented on the action.

Reportedly the uninvite is related to his online behaviour; especially regarding his estranged wife Kim.

Billie Eilish, Korean artists BTS, Lil’ Nas X, and Olivia Rodrigo have been confirmed as performing on during the festivities. Noah Trevor will be hosting the gala event.
