The Xfinity Series caps off a doubleheader Saturday from the newly configured Atlanta Motor Speedway with the Nalley Cars 250.

After qualifying was rained out, NASCAR set the field by their metric; putting Noah Gragson on the pole with team mate Josh Berry starting alongside on the front row.

Stages one and two of the race are 40 laps each with stage three lasting 83 laps for a total of 163 laps. NASCAR has called for a competition caution on lap 20.

The teams have only four sets of tires in the pits for this race.

Lap 18, leaders are in single file; with drivers two wide through the rest of the field.

Lap 20, Noah Gragson continues to lead the race.

At the end of lap 20, NASCAR displays the yellow flag for the competition caution.

Ty Gibbs car has a bit of an overheating issue.

Some of the drivers come down pit road for service, leaders stay out.

After staying out on the track, Noah Gragson brings the field down for the green flag restart on lap 27 and edges out Brandon Jones after a push from team mate Sam Mayer.

The top five are Noah Gragson, Brandon Jones, Ty Gibbs, Sam Mayer, and Justin Allgaier.

All four of the JR Motorsports and all three of the Joe Gibbs Racing cars are in the top 10.

Lap 31, Noah Gragson has led every lap so far with Brandon Jones in second; Ty Gibbs, Justin Allgaier, and Josh Berry round out the top five.

Lap 33, all 38 drivers are on the lead lap.

Lap 34, Brandon Jones passes for the lead briefly but Noah Gragson comes back to bttle for the lead.

Lap 35, Josh Berry gives a push to Noah Gragson, putting Gragson back in the lead.

Four laps remain in stage one, Noah Gragson continues to lead the race.

After staying out on the track, AJ Allmendinger brings the field down for the green flag start of stage two on lap 48 with Landon Cassill alongside. Allmendinger goes side by side with Cassill and gets out in front for the lead.

Lap 50, the top five are AJ Allmendinger, Landon Cassill, Jade Buford, Daniel Hemric, and Ryan Sieg.

Noah Gragson gets into the wall in a four wide battle but the track stays green. He has a tire going down and has to make an unscheduled trip down pit road.

Riley Herbst is back on pit road with the hood up; he is having some overheating issues.

Lap 56, AJ Allmendinger leads the race with Daniel Hemric in second; Jade Buford, Tommy Joe Martins, and Sage Karam round out the top five. Noah Gragson returns to the track a lap down.

Ryan Sieg’s car also has some overheating issues.

Several of the drivers appear to have overheating issues during the race.

Lap 71, drivers are mostly single file but are jumping down every so often to try and improve their positions.

Lap 73, there are 35 cars on the lead lap.

Late in the afternoon, the sun is becoming an issue for the drivers.

Sheldon Creed brings the field down for the green flag start of stage three on lap 89 and gets out in front with the help of a push from Austin Hill.

With 65 laps to go, Trevor Bayne and Sheldon Creed battle for the lead with Bayne getting out in front. Originally scheduled to run only six races, Trevor Bayne did not originally have this race on his schedule.

The caution flag comes out tiwh 58 laps to gi for a crash involving several drivers. Sam Mayer, Jade Buford, and Jeremy Clements were all involved.

Some of the drivers come down pit road for service and to pack the fuel cell in order to make it to the end of the race.

Brandon Brown spins out after contact with Sheldon Creed in a three wide battle to brings out the caution flag.

Austin Hill brings the field down from the outside lane with Ty Gibbs alongside on the inside with 20 laps to go. Gibbs and Hill battle back and forth for the lead with Austin Hill getting out in front after a push from Trevore Bayne.

With18 laps to go, the top five are Austin Hill, Trevor Bayne, AJ Allmendinger, Landon Cassill, and Ryan Sieg.

Fifteen to go, Austin Hill is the leader with AJ Allmendinger on his bumper; Landon Cassill, Joeh Berry, and Ty Gibbs round out the top five.

Lap 170, Trevor Bayne and AJ Allmendinger battle back and forth for second with Austin Hill in the lead.

The caution flag comes out for a big crash with eleven laps to go. Tommy Joe Martins, Trevor Bayne, Noah Gragson, Jeb Burton, Alex Labbe, Justin Allgaier, Sam Mayer, Stefan Parsons, Sage Karam, and Josh Berry were all involved in the crash.

Wtih just three laps remaining in the race, Austin Hill brings the field down for the green flag restart from the outside lane. Myatt Snider is alongside with a sparking car.

The caution flag ocmes out just after the restart when Myatt Snider and Riley Herbst makes contact; spinning Snider out.

The race has gone into overtime. Austin Hill brings the field down for the overtime two lap shootout for the end of the race. Ryan Sieg edges oit in front but the caution flag comes out for a wreck involving Matt Mills, Jesse Iwuji, and Stefan Parsons. NASCAR has red flagged the race in order to get the track cleaned up.

The drivers get moving again after a red flag of around 10 minutes.

The sun has fully set and the lights are on.
