On November 22, 2021, Xfinity Series driver and team owner Mark Harmon was suspended indefinitely for violating the rules regarding testing. His original ruling also involved at $50,000 fine and six race suspension for crew chief Ryan Bell; which were later rescinded.

Harmon appealed the ruling but on his final appeal to the National Motorsports Final Appeal Officer who ruled that due to a change in the rule book Harmon can be reinstated but will begin the season minus 75 driver points and 75 owner points.

Harmon is the driver and owner of the number 74 Xfinity Series car.

Points are awarded for each finishing position with the winner earning 40 points and each successive position receives one point less than the one in front of them on the final standings.
