This spring the hit singing competition “The Voice” is not airing, “Dancing with the Stars” no longer airs a spring season, and “So You Think You Can Dance” has not been heard of since the beginning of the pandemic.

But fans of competition reality shows will have a new show to watch beginning February 1 with “The Real Dirty Dancing”.

It has been 25 years since the hit film starring Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze “Dirty Dancing” aired.

Set to air on FOX, “The Real Dirty Dancing” will pair eight contestants to recreate the dances from the hit film.

Hosted by Stephen “tWitch” Boss; Corbin Bleu, Brie Bella, Tyler Cameron, Cat Cora, Howie Dorough,Antonio Gates, Anjelah Johnson-Reyes, and Loni Love will pair up to compete in the month long series.

The show is set to recreate more than just the dances from the movie, it will take place at the Mountain Lake Lodge in Virginia – the site of “Kellerman’s Lodge” in “Dirty Dancing”.

Guset judges will determine who will be the next “Baby and Johnny”.
