On January 19 GLAAD announced the nominees for their annual Media Awards. Unlike any other awards presentations, GLAAD holds multiple ceremonies in multiple cities. This year the Media Awards will be held in Los Angeles on April 2 and New York on May 6.Among this year’s nominees are three productions from Broadway; as well as, projects that originated on the Broadway stage. And while the daytime talk show “The View” has numerous detractors, the gab fest garnered a nomination.The GLAAD Media Awards made history this year when it nominated Mj Rodriguez for an award in a leading category.
