Race car drivers love to race and there are some drivers who will climb behind the wheel of anything as log as it has four wheels and a steering wheel.  Drivers like Christopher Bell and Cup Series champion Kyle Larson are two such drivers who will run on anything from dirt to asphalt.

Last week, the annual Tulsa Shootout brought in a record of over 1,700 drivers including some of the biggest names in NASCAR.  Next week, it’s the Chili Bowl; who also is bringing in a record number of racers at around 400 drivers including eleven NASCAR drivers.

The Chili Bowl is the “Super Bowl” of midget racing and attracts some of the biggest names in all of racing.

Kyle Larson is a two time Chili Bowl champion who returns to defend his championship.  Fellow champion Christopher Bell is a three time champion who returns to try for a fourth win.

Other NASCAR drivers set to make a run for the Golden Driller trophy are Alex Bowman, Chase Briscoe, Chase Elliott, and Ricky Stenhouse Jr from the Cup Series.  Xfinity Series drivers Tanner Berryhill and Ryan Ellis have entered the race; as well as Camping World Truck Series drivers Carson Hocevar and Jesse Little.

Past  NASCAR drivers Ryan Newman, Kasey Kahne, and J.J. Yeley will also be a part of the 2022 field of racers.
