The NASCAR racing season may be officially over, but NASCAR continues to expect its members to follow the rule book.

Officials have suspended three Cup Series crew members indefinitely due to violating laws related to behavioural issues.

Motorsports Business Management crew chief Johnny Roten for the number 13 car has been suspended under NASCAR’s substance abuse policies.  When it comes to substance abuse, NASCAR has a no tolerance policy.

Front Row Motorsports hauler driver for the number 38 car and BJ McLeod Motorsports Xfinity Series car chief Austin Zivich were both suspended for violation for violating the behavioural policy.

NASCAR did not give any specifics of the violations but the crew members will have to undergo some form of “training” in order to be eligible to return to the sport.
