There’s a new singing competition coming to television and it has some big names in the world of music joining the show.

For the past decade, drag queen fans have been tuning in to “RuPaul’s Drag Race” where they often get to see the queens perform live and in lip sync battles.

In the new competition series “Queen of the Universe”, drag queens from all across the planet will be competing for the title of “Queen of the Universe”.  They will have to perform live before the juding panel and a live audience.

British talk show host Graham Norton will serve as host for the series.  Entertainers Vanessa Williams and Leona Lewis will be a part of the judging panel for the series.  “RuPaul’s Drag Race” regular judge Michelle Visage and Drag Race All Star winner Trixie Mattel will also be a part of the first judging panel.

The series will air on Paramount+ and is set to begin on December 2, 2021.  Season one contestants have not yet been announced but will come from a variety of nations.
