Week two of the Blind Auditions on “The Vocie” begins with Kelly and Blake having four artists on their teams while Ariana and John have five artists each on their teams.

Blake reminds everybody that he has won the show eight times with his entrance.

Ariana is the only coach who still has her block.

Self proclaimed hippie and glass artist Raquel Trinidad calls Miami home. She chose the Stevie Wonder song “I Wish” for her audition. After dancing around a bit, Jon was the first one to push his chair. Ariana follwed and then Kelly to make it a three chair turn. Ariana said that Raquel’s voice is like a breath of fresh air. John noted that Raquel has a flexible voice. Kelly noted that Raquel has some great runs; adding that she is really talented. Raquel chose Ariana to be her coach.

The trio The Joy Reunion have been playing together for over 10 years. The group says that they play California Country. After saying tat they were country on the first notes, Blake waited a bit before pushing his button and was joined by John for a two chair turn. John said that they were so fun to listen to. Blake noted that he always tries to get a country artist in the finale. Kelly noted that she didn’t turn because she already has a group. The Joy Reunion chose Blake to be their coach.

Jasmine Mills is a mother of two who sings at church. Her version of “It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday” failed to impress the coaches enough to turn their chairs. Blake apologized for not turning but said it started off a bit. Kelly and Ariana liked the performance but were looking for a little something more. John noted that perhaps a better song choice will get some chair turns.

Haily Mia shocked the coaches and impressed Kelly and Ariana enough to turn their chairs. At 13 years old, she is the youngest singer to appear on the show. She says that she has been waiting to get on the show. Kelly said that she thought she was turning for someone who was 24; adding that Hailey could sing anything she wanted. John said that for Hailey to perform the song was impressive. Ariana noted that she could tell Hailey was young but not that young. Hailey chose Ariana to be her coach.

Jeremy Rosado put his musical career on hold to raise his niece that became his daughter. Saying that he is not a Country artist, he is doing a Rascal Flatts song for his audition. He missed his daughter’s high school audition to audition for the show. Jeremy had to wait until the end of the song before Kelly and Blake turned their chairs. Kelly called the performance incredibly cool; adding that he is overwhelmingly talented. Blake said that Jeremy kept getting better and wouldn’t take no for an answer. John noted that Jeremy has a big heart. Jeremy chose Kelly to be his coach.

Piney Flatts native Carson Peters is known for his fiddle playing and has appeared on the Jay Leno Show and opened up for Ricky Skaggs who also brought him on the stage at the Grand Ole Opry. Carson got a message from Ricky Skaggs before he went on stage. Carson played the guitar for his audition of “Tulsa Time”. It didn’t take long for John to turn his chair for Carson. Blake followed shortly thereafter. Ariana joined the guys in turning her chair and Kelly made it a four chair turn at the last second. John noted that he turned his chair first; adding that it looked like he was having fun. Kelly said that she loved Carson’s voice and hopes that Carson would play his fiddle. Ariana said that she appreciated Carson’s voice. Blake was impressed with Carson. Saying that it is tougher than he thought it would be, Carson chose Blake to be his coach.

Keilah Grace had to wait a bit before Kelly pushed her chair; John and Ariana joined her by the end of the song. John said that Kelah took them on a journey with her voice. Keilah comes from a musical family and has been performing with her family for several years. John said that Keilah had an Olivia Newton John vibe to her voice. Kelly said that she felt it; adding that she turned her voice first. Ariana said that Keilah has a great voice. Saying that she loves them all, Keilah chose John to be her coach.

Buffalo native Bubba is a hair stylist be day but wants to make music his life. He failed to impress the coaches enough to turn a chair. John said that he was so close noting that there were some pitchy moments. Kelly and Ariana felt that Bubba needs to stop thinking so much.

Samara Brown is following in the footsteps of her sister Amanda who appeared on season three of “The Voice”. She has performed around the world but calls the show her biggest opportunity. She chose a Chaka Khan song for her audition and got John to turn his chair early with Ariana. Ariana tried to block John but she waited too long. John and Ariana were standing up dancing to the song. John said that Samara killed it; adding that he would love to work with her. Ariana called the performance perfect from start to finish. Samara chose John to be her coach.

Lucas O’Reilly began playing guitar when he was six years old. Singing came many years later with a garage band. A big fan of James Taylor, Lucas chose a James Taylor song for his audition but failed to turn any chairs. Kelly wanted to hear more range. Ariana said that she would buy his album but wanted to hear more. John noted some pitch issues; adding that Lucas has a great tone.

In the final audition of the night, Holly Forbes is a caregiver and uses her music with her clients. She chose the Sir Elton song “Rocket Man” for her audition and got Kelly, John, and Ariana to push their buttons together; Blake made it a four chair turn early but Ariana finally got to use her block on John. Blake called it a great performance; adding that she isn’t just a singer, but an artist. Ariana called the performance moving and emotionally charged. John said that Holly gave a very compelling performance. Kelly admitted that Ariana is great…but she is great too. Kelly noted that Holly got lost in the song.
