Just as theatres began to reopen and set opening dates for their various productions, some of them are having to shut back down due to a surge in the Covid 19 Delta variant.
The West End productions of “Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat” and “Be More Chill” have had to cancel performance dates after a member of the cast has contracted the coronavirus.
The Lord Andrew Lloyd Weber and Time Rice production of “Joseph” has been running since July 12 but is now closed until at least August 15.
“Be More Chill” by Joe Iconis and Joe Tracz reopened on June 30 but has been shutdown until at least Aug 19.
Currently both productions are scheduled to run through September 5.
