Delayed due to lightening, the Xfinity Series looks to run their fifth road course race of the season when the car finally take to the track at Watkins Glen International for the Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey 200.

After running the lightening shortened Truck Series race, AJ Allmendinger, Sam Mayer, and Timmy Hill are doing double duty and are racing in the Xfinity Series race today.

Justin Allgaier sits on the pole and will bring the field to the green flag with Austin Cindric alongside on the front row.

Stages one and two of the race are 20 laps long with stage three lasting 42 laps for a total of 82 laps around the nearly two and a half mile track.

Justin Allgaier brings the field down for the green flag start of the race from the inside lane.  Austin Cindric takes the lead.

Ryan Sieg and David Smith make contact and get off the track but the track stays green.

Lap two, Austin Cindric has a lead of over half a second on Justin Allgaier; Daniel Hemric, AJ Allmendinger, and Justin Haley round out the top five.

The caution flag comes out on lap three for a crash involving Michael Munley and getting into the tire wall.  Munley gets the car moving again before safety workers arrive.

Only a few drivers came down pit road during the caution flag.

Austin Cindric brings the field down for the green flag restart from the outside lane with Justin Allgaier alongside on lap seven after a delay to get the tire wall reset.  Cindric takes the lead with AJ Allmendinger taking second.

Harrison Burton and Justin Haley battle for fifth while AJ Allmendinger continues to battle for the lead.

Ty Gibbs has joined the battle for fifth.

Lap nine, Austin Cindric and AJ Allmendinger continue to battle for the lead; Justin Allgaier, Daniel Hemric, and Ty Gibbs round out the top five.

NASCAR displays the yellow flag for the competition caution at the end of lap 10.

Leaders stay out on the track, but drivers back in the field come down pit road for service and adjustments.

After spinning out on the restart, Kyle Tilley works his way to pit road.

Lap 13, the top five are Austin Cindric, AJ Allmendinger, Daniel Hemric, Ty Gibbs, and Justin Allgaier.

Lap 14, Daniel Hemric begins to put some pressure on AJ Allmendinger for second.  Ty Gibbs in fourth is looking to make it a three way battle.

Lap 14, Austin Cindric has pulled out to a lead of over half a second on AJ Allmendinger.

Lap 15, AJ Allmendinger is closing the gap on leader Austin Cindric.

Lap 16, leaders stay out but other drivers including Ty Gibbs and Justin Allgaier come down pit road for a pit stop before the end of the stage.  A road course, drivers can make a pit stop and not go down a lap.

Lap 18, Austin Cindric has a half second lead on AJ Allmendinger; Daniel Hemric is over two seconds back in third.

Leaders are encountering slower traffic.

Lap 29, Ty Gibbs leads the race with Justin Allgaier in second;, AJ Allmendinger, Brandon Jones and Austin Cindric round out the top five.

Ty Gibbs has pulled out to a lead of over three seconds on Justin Allgaier and AJ Allmendinger.

Brandon Jones is the only driver not to make a pit stop; he comes down pit road for his first stop on lap 30.

Brandon Jones was caught speeding on pit road and had to serve a pass through penalty.

The caution flag comes out on lap 33 for a mechanical issue for Alex Labbe. He has flames coming out from under his car. Labbe was already five laps down due to an axle issue. He drops grease on the track.

After an extended caution flag to get the track cleaned up, Ty Gibbs brings the field down for the green flag restart with AJ Allmendinger alongside on lap 36. Gibbs and Allmendinger go side by side with Allmendinger taking the lead in turn three.

The top five are AJ Allmendinger, Ty Gibbs, Austin Cindric, Justin Allgaier, and Noah Gragson.

Lap 37, Ty Gibbs comes up to battle AJ Allmendinger for the lead.

Lap 38, Ty Gibbs and AJ Allmendinger continue to battle for the lead with Austin Cindric in third; Justin Allgaier, and Noah Gragson round out the top five.

With a stage length of 42 laps, all of the drivers will have to make at least one pit stop for fuel during stage three.

Back in the field, drivers begin battling for position.

Lap 47, Ty Gibbs has a lead of over half a second on Austin Cindric with Sam Mayer in third; Noah Gragson and Harrison Burton round out the top five.

Thirty five laps remain in the race and the drivers are getting more aggressive as they battle for position.

Myatt Snider spins out in the bus stop but the track stays green.

The caution flag comes out on lap 49 for a crash involving Matt Mills and David Smith. Mills ran into the tire barrier.

Pit road is open and all of the drivers come down pit road for everything from fuel only to four tire pit stops.

Justin Allgaier wins the race off of pit road after taking fuel only.

Outside the fuel window, crew chiefs are telling their drivers to save fuel.

Daniel Hemric is among a few drivers who did not come down pit road.

Lap 60, Justin Haley falls through the field with reports that he is stuck in neutral.

Lap 62, 20 to go, Ty Gibbs is barreling through the course with a lead of two and a half seconds on Brandon Jones; Austin Cindric, AJ Allmendinger, and Justin Allgaier round out the top five.

Lap 64, Ty Gibbs continues to increase his lead and is now over three seconds ahead.

Justin Allgaier reports that he might have a tire going down and has to make a pit stop.

Lap 65, Ty Gibbs has a lead of over three and a half seconds on Austin Cindric; AJ Allmendinger, Noah Gragson, and Harrison Burton round out the top five.

Lap 66, Sam Mayer and Kris Wright make contact, spinning out Wright but the track stays green.

Lap 68, Erik Jones hits the barrier after losing his brakes and brings out the seventh caution flag of the race. Jones gets stuck in the gravel.

Some of the drivers come down pit road for service but the leaders stay out on the track. Fifth place driver Noah Gragson leads the list of drivers coming down pit road.
