After two weeks of racing on the dirt, the SRX Racing Series returns to the asphalt when they travel to Lucas Oil Raceway in Indiana for round four and some Saturday night short track racing as the second half of the inaugural season begins.

Last week at Eldora tempers flared and bumpers banged in a battle to win th trophy. Is it time for a little retaliation???

Last week it seemed that if there was a wreck, Paul Tracy was involved. Pit reporter Brad Daugherty noted that last week Paul Tracy had more hits than the Beatles.

Scott Speed continues to lead the race with a lead of nearly a second on Michael Waltrip. There has been little movement in the order since the beginning of the race.

With seven minutes remaining in the heat, Scott Speed has increased his lead to over a second on Michael Waltrip; Tony Kanaan, Bobby Santos, and Bobby Labonte round out the top five.

The yellow flag comes out for a wreck involving Tony Kanaan who spins out after getting loose.

With six laps remaining in the race, Scott Speed brings the field down from the inside lane with Ernie Francis Jr on the outside lane. From this point on only green flag laps will count. Scott Speed and Ernie Franics battle for the lead; beating and banging as they go around the point six mile track. Bobby Labonte waits patiently in third.
