The Camping World Truck Series kicks off a busy weekend for NASCAR with all three racing series taking to the track at Pocono Raceway; including a doubleheader from the Cup Series.
With no practice or qualifying, NASCAR has set the field by their formula that includes previous race results and point standings to set the field. Todd Gilliland will sit on the pole for the CRC Brakleen 150. Zane Smith will start alongside on the front row.
Cup Series driver and Camping World truck owner Kyle Busch is taking part in the race today when he climbs into the KBM number 51 truck for his fifth and final Truck Series race this season. Busch will start the race in 22nd place. Last week Busch earned Xfinity Series win number 100; he also currently owns the record for most wins in the Truck Series with 60.

It’s the “tricky triangle” and only three races remain in the Camping World Truck Series regular season.
Stages one and two of the race are only 15 laps long with stage three lasting 30 laps for a total of 60 laps around the two and a half mile triangular shaped track.
Todd Gilliland brings the field down for the green flag start of the race from the outside lane. Drivers immediately spread four and five wide with the caution flag coming out after drivers get into the wall. Johnny Sauter and Jack Wood both have damage to their trucks. Jack Wood has his truck removed from the track and is out of the race.
Todd Gilliland is listed as the lead with Zane Smith in second.
Todd Gilliland brings the field down for the green flag restart from the outside lane on lap five but it is Zane Smith who gets out in front for the lead as the drivers spread out across the track.
The top five are Zane Smith, Ben Rhodes, Sheldon Creed, Todd Gilliland, and Stewart Friesen. Kyle Busch has already entered the top 10.
Lap six, Ben Rhodes takes the lead with Zane Smith in second. Kyle Busch is in ninth place.

Lap eight, points leader John Hunter Nemechek is just outside the top 10 in eleventh.

With a fuel load of around 30 laps, the drivers can conceivably run the race on only one pit stop near the end of stage two.
Some of the drivers come down pit road for service. Of those who came down pit road, John Hunter Nemechek won the race off of pit road.

Lap 20, Kyle Busch passes Zane Smith for the lead but Smith retakes the lead when Busch gets loose.
Lap 21, the top five are Zane Smith, Todd Gilliland, Kyle Busch, Sheldon Creed, and John Hunter Nemechek.
Lap 22, now in fourth place, Kyle Busch slaps the wall but the track stays green.
Lap 23, Todd Gilliland and Zane Smith battle for the lead with Smith holding on to the spot.

After spreading out four and five wide across the track, the drivers have gotten single file.
Lap 27, looking to run the race on a single pit stop, several drivers come down pit road for service. Some drivers are reporting loose conditions in their trucks.
Lap 28, leader Sheldon Creed comes down pit road for service; John Hunter Nemechek is the new leader.
With two laps remaining in stage two John Hunter Nemechek leads the race;Ben Rhodes, Stewart Friesen, Austin Hill, and Matt Crafton round out the top five.
Zane Smith did not make it on pit road before it closed and will have to restart the race from the back of the field.
