After the Steakhouse Elite 200 from Darlington Raceway on May 8, NASCAR Officials determined in the post race inspection process that the JR Motorsports number nine car driven by Noah Gragson violated the NASCAR rule book in relation to the car’s suspension and was disqualified from the race.

JR Motorsports appealed the decision that had stripped Gragson os his fourth place finish, the $100,000 Dash-4-Cash bonus, and a spot in the final Dash-4-Cash race at Dover International Speedway this weekend.

On May 12, the Appeals Board ruled that FR Motorsports and Noah Gragson’s team did not break any rules and restored Gragson’s fourth place finish and Dash-4-Cash prize. Gragson will also join JR Motorsports team mates Justin Allgaier and Josh Berry; along with Brandon Jones in a battle for the final Dash-4-Cash race.

NASCAR cannot appeal the decision.
