On Monday night’s show of “The Voice”, 17 singers took to the stage for the first live performances of the season.
On the Tuesday results show, only nine of the 17 will survive the night – top votes from each team, coaches choice, and an instant save.
In the first results of the night, Team Blake takes the stage…
In the fan vote, Cam Anthony is moving on to the next round.
For the coaches save, Blake chose Jordan Matthew Young is moving on to the next round.
Next up is Team Nick…
In the fan vote, Rachel Mac is moving on to the next round.
In the coaches choice, Nick chose to save Dana Monique.
Then came Team Legend…
In the fan vote, Victor Solomon is moving on to the next round.
In the coaches choice, John chose to save Pia Renee to move on to the next round.
And finally it was Team Kelly’s turn to learn their results…
In the fan vote, Kenzie Wheeler is moving on to the next round.
In the coaches choice, Kelly chose to save Gihanna Zoe.
The four singers that have earned the highest remaining voetes and will be performing for the wild card instant save are:
Pete Mroz
Jose Figueroa Jr
Ryleigh Modig
and Corey Ward
Anna Grace, Andrew Marshall, Devan Blake Jones, Zania Alake, and Zae Romeo have all been eliminated from the competition.
First up to sing is Team Blake’s Pete Mroz with the Dan + Shay smash hit “Speechless”.
Team Nick’s Jose Figueroa Jr took on Stevie Wonder with “Superstition”.
Team Kelly’s Corey Ward sang “Lose You to Find Me”.
And closing out the wild card performances is Ryleigh Modig with “It Will Rain” by Bruno Mars.
And the final singer moving on to the next round is Team Kelly’s Corey Ward!
Next week the top nine will take the stage for the semi-finals.
