It all comes down to one final race for the Gander RV and Outdoors Truck Series with the Lucas Oil 150 from Phoenix Raceway.

It’s the final race of the season with 33 drivers competing for the final win of the 2020 season; but only four of them are competing for the championship – Enfinger, Zane Smith, Sheldon Creed, and Brett Moffitt. The final four do not have to win the race to win the championship, just finish in front of the other three playoff drivers.

After winning the race in Martinsville to race his way into the final four, Grant Enfinger sits on the pole and will bring the field to green with Zane Smith alongside on the front row.

Stages one and two of the race are 45 laps each with stage three lasting 60 laps for a total of 150 laps around the one mile track.

Lap six, Zane Smith has increased his lead over a second on Sheldon Creed.; Brett Moffitt, Grant Enfinger, and Matt Crafton round out the top five.

Grant Enfinger is reporting some tight handling conditions in his truck.

Lap eight, Zane Smith continues to increase his lead on Sheldon Creed; which is now over a second and a half.

Lap 10, Zane Smith has pulled out to a lead of nearly two seconds on Sheldon Creed; Brett Moffitt, Grant Enfinger, and Matt Crafton round out the top five.

Lap 14, Zane Smith has pulled out to a lead of over two seconds on Sheldon Creed; Brett Moffitt, Grant Enfinger, and Matt Crafton round out the top five.

Lap 18, there are 31 trucks on the lead lap with Jennifer Jo Cobb one lap down and Josh Reaume five laps down.

Lap 19, Sheldon Creed has closed the gap on leader Zane Smith to under a second and a half with Brett Moffitt challenging for the second spot.

Lap 21, Zane Smith has just a one second lead on Sheldon Creed with Brett Moffitt, Grant Enfinger, and Matt Craftn rounding out the top five.

Lap 22, Josh Reaume is off the track; there are 27 trucks on the lead lap.

Lap 25, Zane Smith has led every lap so far and has a one second lead on Sheldon Creed; Brett Moffitt, Grant Enfinger, and Matt Crafton round out the top five. With 26 trucks on the lead lap.

Lap 29, there are five seconds between leader Zane Smith and fifth place driver Matt Crafton.

Lap 30, Zane Smith now has a second and a half lead on Sheldon Creed; Brett Moffitt, Grant Enfinger, and Matt Crafton round out the top five.

Lap 36, Zane Smith continues to lead the race but has a lead of only half a second on Sheldon Creed with just 20 trucks on the lead lap.

Just five laps remain in stage one; Zane Smith continues to dominate the stage by leadeing every lap so far. He has pulled out to a lead of nearly two seconds on Sheldon Creed.

With a lead of two and a half seconds, Zane Smith wins stage one.

Lap 56, Sheldon Creed is in the lead with Brett Moffitt on his bumper in second; Zne Smith, Ben Rhodes, and Stewart Friesen, and Grant Enfinger round out the top five.

Lap 59, team mates Sheldon Creed and Brett Moffitt battle for the lead with Sheldon Creed holding Moffitt off…for the moment.

And the battle continues, with Creed and Moffitt battling to take the lead.

Lap 67, Sheldon Creed holds on to the lead with Brett Moffitt just a quarter of a second back; Zane Smith, Ben Rhodes, and Grant Enfinger round out the top five.

Lap 73, Sheldon Creed is still in the lead and battling Brett Moffitt for the lead; Zane Smith, Ben Rhodes, and Grant Enfinger round out the top five with 20 trucks on the lead lap.

Lap 75, with the help of some slower traffic, Brett Moffitt takes the lead and pulls out to a lead of half a second on Sheldon Creed.

Lap 78, Brett Moffitt has a half second lead on Zane Smith; Sheldon Creed, Ben Rhodes, and Grant Enfinger round out the top five.

With just five laps remaining in stage two, Brett Moffitt has a lead of over half a second on Zane Smith; Sheldon Creed, Ben Rhodes, and Grant Enfinger round out the top five with 19 trucks on the lead lap.

With 48 laps to go, Sheldon Creed is returning the favour and is giving Brett Moffitt a battle for the lead; Zane Smith, Ben Rhodes, and Christian Eckes round out the top five.

The first caution flag of the race for an on track incident comes out on lap 104 when Carson Hocevar gets into the wall hard with a possible flat tire.

Brett Moffitt brings the field down for the green flag restart with 38 laps remaining in the race. Brett Moffitt edges out Sheldon Creed for the lead as drivers get three and four wide across the track.

Carson Hocevar and Josh Reaume are the only drivers out of the race.

With 29 laps remaining in the race, Brett Moffitt has increased his lead to over a second on Sheldon Creed.

Lap 125, Brett Moffitt has pulled out to a second and a half lead on Sheldon Creed; Ben Rhodes, Zane Smith, and Grant Enfinger round out the top five.

Twenty to go, Brett Moffitt has pulled out to a lead of over two secnds on Sheldon Creed; Ben Rhodes, Zane Smith and Grant Enfinger round out the top five with 19 trucks on the lead lap.

Grant Enfinger gets around Zane Smith to take fourth place.

Lap 231, Brett Moffitt has increased his lead to two and a half seconds on Sheldon Creed; fifth place driver Zane Smith is three and a half seconds back.

Lap 133, Brett Moffitt now has a lead of over three seconds on Sheldon Creed; Grant Enfinger, Ben Rhodes, and Zane Smith round out the top five.

After having some handling issues, Grant Enfinger’s team pulled a spring rubber out of the truck and he has begun moving through the field.

With 14 laps to go, Brett Moffitt has a lead of over three and a half seconds while Sheldon Creed and Grant Enfinger battle for second.

Twelve to go, Brett Moffitt is running away from the field with a lead of four and a half seconds on Grant Enfinger; Sheldon Creed, Ben Rhodes, and Zane Smith round out the top five.

Nine laps remain in the race; Brett Moffitt has a four second lead on Grant Enfinger; Sheldon Creed, Ben Rhodes, and Stewart Friesen round out the top five.

Back in March, Brett Moffitt broke both of his legs in a dirt biking accident and due to the Covid-19 shutdown, he was able to recover and never miss a race.

Five to go, Brett Moffitt has a three second lead on Grant Enfinger; Sheldon Creed, Ben Rhodes, and Stewart Friesen round out the top five.

Three to go and the caution flag comes out when Dawson Cram makes contact with another truck and spins out. The caution flag erased a lead of over two seconds for leader Brett Moffitt.

The race goes into overtime.
