On a special Tuesday broadcast of “Dancing with the Stars” the 15 couple face the first elimination of the season.

Nev and Jenna get the night of dancing started off with a Cha Cha to “Dynamite” by BTS.  Derek called it a solid performance and a great way to start the show.  Bruno said that Nev was nibble with his footwork with mind boggling gyrations.  Carrie Ann called Nev an incredible dancer.  Nev and Jenna scored 21 points for their dance.

After topping the leaderboard last week, Skai and Alan dance a Samba to “Miss Independent” by Ne-Yo.  Bruno noted that things happen, but Skai is precise and full of talent.  Carrie Ann said that the way the routine started, it looked like they may top the leaderboard again.  Derek said that a set back brings a come back. Skai had a mishap in her dance.  Skai and Alan scored 15 points for their dance.

Host Tyra Banks revealed that just before air time, Kailyn has an ankle injury.  It is unknown at this time whether or not she will be able to perform.

Johnny and Britt dance a Tango to Poker Face” by Lady Gaga.  In rehearsals, Johnny said that it is one of his favourite songs.  Carrie Ann noted that Johnny was totally into the dance but his footwork is strange.  Derek loved the Johnny drama; adding for Johnny to watch his frame.  Bruno noted that the great lady – Gaga – has inspired him.  Johnny and Britt scored 18 points for their dance.

Tied for the lead last week, Justina and Sasha dance a Foxtrot.  Derek said that Justina was a natural and so beautiful.  Bruno said that he loves watching her; adding that she dances form the heart.  Carrie Ann noted that the power of dance was the ability to take people to another place…and Justina did that with her dance.  Justina and Sasha scored 21 points for their dance.

Monica and Val dance a Jive to “Shake it Off” by Taylor Swift.  Bruno noted that Monica’s cheerleading helped her with the dance; adding that he liked the feel.  Carrie Ann noted that Monica was more relaxed this week; adding that she wanted to see more dance.  Derek called the dance fun, playful, and bubbly.  Monica and Val scored 16 point for their dance.

AJ and Cheryl dance a Foxtrot to “Ain’t that a Kick in the Head”.  AJ said that it was one of his and his wife’s favourite songs.  Carrie Ann loved it; adding that he was smooth as silk out there.  Derek called AJ a showman; adding he did a great job.  Bruno said that the Rat Pack would be proud; adding it had pizzazz.  AJ and Cheryl scored 19 points for their dance.

Anne and Keo danced a Fox Trot to “Counting Stars” by One Republic.  Derek loved the connection between the two; adding that he enjoyed it.  Bruno was swept away with the connection; adding that there was a lot of Fox Trot content in the dance.  Cannie Ann noted that Ann trusts Keo; adding she can see growth since last week.  Anne and Keo scored 18 points for their dance.

Nelly and Daniella dance a Cha Cha to the music of Earth, Wind, and Fire.  Bruno said that Nelly’s timing was great tonight: adding that he has great musicality.  Carrie Ann noted that Nelly is a hard worker; adding that he is the easiest to watch.  Derek said that Nelly’s timing is impeccable.  Nelly and Daniella scored 18 points for their dance.

Chrishell and Gleb danced a Rumba to “This is Me”.  Carrie Ann said that Chrishell danced from her heart.  Derek noted that Chrishell was more passionate this week.  Bruno was impressed; adding that she has some beautiful lines at times.  Chrishell and Gleb scored 18 points for their dance.

Artem gave an update on Kaitlyn saying that they will be dancing tonight.

Charles and Emma danced a Cha Cha to the music of Luther Vandross.  Derek noted that the timing was better; adding that it was a huge improvement from last week.  Bruno noted that Charles was much better this week.  Carrie Ann loved the dance.  Charles and Emma scored 15 points for their dance.

Jesse and Sharna Fox Trot to “Dreams” by Fleetwood Mac.  Bruno said “Mr Dreamy does it again”.  Carrie Ann called the dance elegant.  Derek said good job.  Jesse noted that learning the choreography is the most difficult thing.  Jesse and Sharna scored 20 points for their dance.

Jeannie and Brandon Cha Cha and have Carrie Ann saying that it was a great improvement.  Derek noted Jeannie’s bent legs; adding he liked the energy and charisma.  Bruno loved that play between partners.  Jeannie and Brandon scored 18 points for their dance.

After scoring the lowest points of the week, Carole and Pasha look for some bigger points with their Viennese Waltz to “What’s New Pussycat” by Tom Jones.  Derek said that there was a big improvement form last week.  Bruno said that Carole’s performance shined this week.  Carrie Ann said that the dance suited Carole this week.  Carole and Pasha scored 16 points for their dance.

Vernon and Peta dance a Paso Doble to the music of Rihanna.  Bruno said that there was a new bull in the house; adding that he loved the power, determination, and strength in the dance.  Derek noted that he enjoyed the dance but needs to work on the shaping.  Carrie Ann wants to see more of the feeling; adding that he needs to go bigger.  Vernon and Peta scored 18 points for their dance.

In the final dance of the night, Kaitlyn and Artem Foxtrot to “I Hope You Dance” by Leann Womack.  Carrie Ann said if that is how you dance with a bad ankle, I’d love to see you dance with a good one.  Derek said that the dance was beautiful, graceful, and effortless.   Bruno said that the quality of movement had a classical ballet quality to it.  Kaitlyn took ballet for 15 years when she was a child.  Kaitlyn and Artem scored 22 points for the highest score of the night.

Charles and Emma and Carole and Pasha are the couples in the bottom and in danger of going home.
