It’s a double double weekend for NASCAR at Dover International Speedway when the Xfinity and Cup Series both take on Miles the Monster and run doubleheader races starting with the Drydene 200.

Five time winner this season, including the road course at Daytona last week, Austin Cindric sits on the pole and will bring the field to green with Noah Gragson starting alongside on the front row.

Stages one and two of the race are 45 laps each with stage three lasting 110 laps for a total of 200 laps around the one mile track.

NASCAR has called for a competition caution on lap 20.  The teams have only three sets of tires for today’s race.

Austin Cindric brings the field down for the green flag start of the race and immediately gets out in front for the lead.

Noah Gragson has a tire rub.

Lap three, the top five are Austin Cindric, Noah Gragson, Harrison Burton, Riley Herbst, and Justin Allgaier.

Lap six, Austin Cindric has a lead of over half a second on Noah Gragson with Harrison Burton over a second and a half back in third. 

Matt Mills has been off the track since lap one.  He is the only car not on the lead lap.

Lap eleven, Austin Cindric has a lead of over a second on Noah Gragson; Harrison Burton, Riley Herbst, and Justin Allgaier round out the top five.

Lap 16, leader Austin Cindric has encountered slower traffic; there are 32 cars on the lead lap.

Lap 19, Noah Gragson has closed the gap on leader Austin Dillon to just half a second as Cindric battle slower traffic.

Lap 21, NASCAR displays the yellow flag for the competition caution.

Leaders stay out, but a few drivers at the back of the field come down pit road for service.

Austin Cindric brings the field down for the green flag restart on lap 26 with Cindric jumping out in front for the lead.  Cindric has led every lap so far.

After the first 15 drivers stayed out on the track, the top three drivers remain the same – Austin Cindric, Noah Gragson, and Harrison Burton; fourth and fifth place drivers are now Justin Allgaier and Riley Herbst.

Lap 30, Justin Allgaier gets around Harrison Burton for third; Austin Cindric has a lead of nearly a second on Noah Gragson.

Lap 33, Ross Chastain takes fifth from Riley Herbst.

The top five are Austin Cindric, Noah Gragson, Justin Allgaier, Harrison Burton, and Ross Chastain.

Lap 35, Austin Cindric has a lead of nearly a second and a half on Noah Gragson.

While returning from Daytona last week, Kyle Weatherman’s team had the hauler stolen with the race car inside.  Law enforcement officers are still searching for the stolen vehicles.  Like a big family, the teams came together to ensure that the team and Weatherman had what he needed to run the race.  Weatherman is currently in 19th place.

Four laps to go in stage one, Austin Cindric has a one second lead on Noah Gragson; Justin Allgaier, Ross Chastain, and Harrison Burton round out the top five.

Austin Cindric wins stage one for his ninth stage win of the season.

Drivers come down pit road for service with Noah Gragson winning the race off of pit road and Austin Cindric out second.

Noah Gragson brings the field down for the green flag start of stage two from the outside lane with Austin Cindric alongside on the inside lane.  With a little push from Justin Allgaier, Noah Gragson takes the lead with Justin Allgaier in second and Austin Cindric in third.

Lap 53, the top vie are Noah Gragson, Justin Allgaier, Austin Cindric, Harrison Burton, and Chase Briscoe.

Lap 55, Noah Gragson has a half second lead on Justin Allgaier with Austin Cindric three quarters of a second back.

Lap 61, Noah Gragson has pulled out to a one second lead on Justin Allgaier; Austin Cindric, Chase Briscoe, and Ross Chastain round out the top five.  There are 29 cars on the lead lap with no driver just one lap down.

Lap 67, Noah Gragson has a half second lead on Justin Allgaier; Austin Cindric, Chase Briscoe, and Ross Chastain round out the top five.

Lap 72, leader Noah Gragson has encountered slower traffic; he is a half second ahead of Austin Cindric with Austin Cindric in third.

In a three way battle, Justin Allgaier takes the lead of the race form Noah Gragson; Austin Cindric is in third.

The caution flag comes out on lap 77 when fourth place driver Chase Briscoe gets loose in trying to pass Austin Cindric and spins out.  He hits the wall.

A doubleheader weekend, drivers must drive the same car in both races; if they must go to a backup car, they will have to start the second race from the back of the field.

Kyle Weatherman was charged with a chose cone violation and had to restart the race from the back of the field.

Under the new choose rule, the drivers can choose which lane they want to restart the race.  Any driver who runs over the choose arrow instead of going right or left must restart the race from the back of the field.

Justin Allgaier brings the field down for the green flag restart on lap 82 and jumps out in front for the lead with Austin Cindric in second and Noah Gragson in third.

Lap 85, Justin Allgaier has the lead with Austin Cindric on his bumper; Ross Chastain, Noah Gragson, and Riley Herbst round out the top five.

Justin Allgaier wins stage two for his eighth stage win of the season.

Drivers come down pit road for service with Justin Allgaier winning the race off of pit road; Austin Cindric came out second.

After staying out on the track Brandon Brown brings the field down for the green flag start of stage three on lap 97 with Justin Allgaier getting out in front for the lead.

The top five are Justin Allgaier, Brandon Brown, Austin Cindric, Ryan Sieg, and Harrison Burton.

Lap 100, Justin Allgaier has a lead of over a second on Brandon Brown with Austin Cindric, Ryan Sieg, and Ross Chastain rounding out the top five.

There are 26 cars on the lead lap.  Matt Mills has returned to the track and is 36 laps down.  Timmy Hill is 46 laps down.

Lap 106, Justin Allgaier has a lead of over a second on Austin Allgaier; Ross Chastain, Brandon Brown, and Harrison Burton round out the top five.

Lap 114, Justin Allgaier continues to lead the race with Austin Cindric in second one second back, Ross Chastain, Harrison Burton, and Brandon Jones round out the top five.

Lap 120, Justin Allgaier has a lead of just inder a second on Austin Cindric; Ross Chastain, Harrison Burton, and Brandon Jones round out the top five with 25 cars on the lead lap.

Lap 125, Justin Allgaier continues to lead the race with Austin Cindric over a second back.  Timmy Hill is out of the race.

With 110 laps in the stage, the drivers cannot complete the race on a single fuel load.  At lap 125, the drivers are now in their pit windows and can pit at any time.

Lap 132, Justin Allgaier’s lead is down to just under a second on Austin Cindric; Ross Chastain, Harrison Burton, and Brandon Jones round out the top five.

Lap 140, Justin Allgaier continues to lead the race with Austin Cindric less than a second back;  Ross Chastain is in third a second and a half back,  Harrison Burton and Brandon Jones round out the top five with only 15 cars on the lead lap.  Bayley Currey joins Timmy Hill in the garage out of the race.

Several of the drivers are reporting loose conditions in their cars.

Lap 150, Justin Allgaier’s lead is down to less than a second on Austin Cindric.

The caution flag comes out when BJ McLeod gets into the wall with a flat tire.  He takes his car to the garage while the drivers bring their cars down pit road to fill the fuel cell, get fresh tires, and make adjustments to the cars.  Justin Allgaier wins the race off of pit road with watermelon man Ross Chastain coming out second.

Kody Vanderwal was charged with a penalty for leaving his pit stall with equipment.

Justin Allgiaer brings the field down for the green flag restart on lap 154.  Justin Allgaier jumps out in front of Austin Cindric for the lead; Ross Chastain, Harrison Burton, and Brandon Jones round out the top five.

After winning Daytona last week, Austin Cindric tied Sam Ard for winning five out of six races.  No driver has ever won six out of seven races.

Lap 160 Justin Allgaier and Austin Cindric battle for the lead but Allgaier holds on to the lead as Ross Chastain makes it a three way battle as he challenges Austin Cindric for second place.

Brandon Jones brings out the caution flag when he gets loose and spins out.

Pit road is open, but the teams have used all of their tires.

With 33 laps remaining in the race, Justin Allgaier brings the field down for the green flag restart with Austin Cindric alongside on the front row.  Justin Allgaier gets out in front for the lead with Austin Cindric on his bumper and Ross Chastain on Cindric’s bumper in third.

Thirty to go, Justin Allgaier has a half second lead on Austin Cindric as he looks to mark his first race win of the season.

Twenty five to go, the top five are Justin Allgaier, Austin Cindric, Ross Chastain, Harrison Burton, and Noah Gragson with 17 cars on the lead lap.

Harrison Burton and Noah Gragson battle for fourth with Gragson taking the spot.

Twenty to go, Justin Allgaier has pulled out to a lead of over a second on Austin Cindric with Ross Chastain in third two seconds back.

Fifteen to go, Justin Allgaier’s lead is now a second and a half on Austin Cindric with Ross Chastain two seconds back in third.

Ten to go, Justin Allgaier holds on his second and a half lead on Austin Cindric; Ross Chastain continues to run in third two seconds back.

Five to go, Justin Allgaier has increased his lead on Austin Cindric to over a second and a half over Austin Cindric.

With Justin Allgaier in the lead, JR Motorsports has all four of its cars in the top 10 with Gragson in fourth, Jeb Burton in seventh, and Michael Annett in ninth.
