The Xfinity Series finishes out three days of racing at Kansas Speedway with the Kansas Lottery 250.

After a random draw based on car owner points, Michael Annett and his number one car will sit on the pole and bring the field to the green flag with Brandon Jones starting alongside on the front row.

Temperatures inside the cars are over 100 degrees and will reach well over 100 degrees by race end.

Justin Haley was late getting off pit road while the team tried to fix a radio issue.

Myatt Sniker’s team takes his car to the garage with no power.

Stages one and two of the race are 40 laps each with stage three lasting 87 laps for a total of 167 laps around the mile and a half track.

On a hot and sticky Kansas afternoon in July, Michael Annett brings the field down for the green flag start of the race and jumps out in front for the lead as drivers get three wide across the track.

Lap two, Brandon Jones takes the lead with Michael Annett in second; Kaz Grala, Austin Cindric, and Chase Briscoe round out the top five.

Lap four, Brandon Jones has a lead of nearly a second on Austin Cindric with Kaz Grala in third.  Ross Chastain is already up near the wall.

NASCAR has called for a competition caution around lap 20.  Drivers may make a pit stop prior to the competition caution, but cannot fuel their cars.

Myatt Snider’s team got the power issue solved and Snider made race start but is now one lap down.

Lap 10 Austin Cindric and Brandon Jones battle for the lead with Austin Cindric taking the top spot; Ross Chastain is in third.

Lap 15, Austin Cindric has a lead of nearly two seconds on Brandon Jones; Ross Chastain, Kaz Grala, and Harrison Burton round out the top five.

Lap 18, Austin Cindric’s lead is now nearly two and a half seconds on Brandon Jones.

Despite trying to make repairs, Justin Haley continues to have radio issues and the team has to resort to other methods of communication.

NASCAR puts out the yellow flag for the competition caution on lap 21.  Ja Junior Avila in 32nd is the “lucky dog”.

Some drivers come down pit road for service, but the leaders stay out.

Austin Cindric brings the field down for the green flag restart on lap 26 and jumps out in front of Brandon Jones for the lead; Daniel Hemric, Ross Chastain, and Harrison Burton round out the top five.

Lap 30, Austin Cindric has a lead of nearly half a second on Ross Chastain with Brandon Jones in third; Harrison Burton and Justin Allgaier round out the top five.

After running truck races for the past two days, one earlier today, Brett Moffitt is in the Xfinity Series race.

With eight laps remaining in stage one, Austin Cindric has pulled out to a lead of nearly a second and a half on Ross Chastain; Brandon Jones, Justin Allgaier, and Harrison Burton round out the top five.

Lap 37, Austin Cindric now has a lead of over three seconds on Ross Chastain with Harrison Burton in third.

With a lead of over three and a half seconds, Austin Cindric wins stage one for stage win number six of the season.

Austin Cindric brings the field down for the green flag restart on lap 47 but it is Ross Chastain that gets out in front first.  Austin Cindric passes Ross Chastain to take the lead with the drivers getting three wide across the track.

Lap 48, Justin Allgaier takes second place and is only two tenths of a second behind leader Austin Cindric.

Lap 50, Austin Cindric has a half second lead on Justin Allgaier with Harrison Burton in third.

Lap 53, Austin Cindric has a lead of over a second on Harrison Burton; Justin Allgaier, Ross Chastain, and Brandon Jones round out the top five.

Lap 60, Austin Cindric has increased his lead on Harrison Burton to two seconds; Justin Allgaier, Brandon Jones, and Justin Haley round out the top five.

Lap 63, Austin Cindric continues to dominate the race with a lead of over a second on Harrison Burton with 31 cars on the lead lap.  Dexter Bean is out of the race and Kyle Weatherman is off the track.  Stephen Leicht has returned to the track 38 laps down.

Lap 68, Austin Cindric holds on to his one second lead on Harrison Burton; Justin Allgaier, Ross Chastain and Justin Haley round out the top five.

Lap 70, Harrison Burton has closed the gap on leader Austin Cindric to under half a second; Justin Allgaier is in third over three seconds back.

Lap 71, Harrison Burton challenges Austin Cindric for the lead as they encounter slower traffic.

Lap 98, the top five are Austin Cindric, Harrison Burton, Justin Allgaier, Brandon Jones, and Chase Briscoe.

Lap 102, Austin Cindric has dominated the race, leading all but 10 laps of the race.

Lap 103, Austin Cindric has pulled out to a lead of over three and a half second on Harrison Burton with Justin Allgaier in third; Brandon Jones and Chase Briscoe round out the top five.  There are 22 cars on the lead lap and four cars out of the race.

Lap 107, Austin Cindric has a lead of nearly three seconds on Harrison Burton; Justin  Allgaier, Brandon Jones, and Chase Briscoe round out the top five.

With a stage run of 87 laps, the drivers cannot complete the race on a single fuel load and will have to make a pit stop some time around the middle of the stage.

Ten to go, Harrison Burton passes Austin Cindric for the lead.

With eight laps remaining in the race, Harrison Burton is in the lead and pulling away from Austin Cindric.

Six to go, Harrison Burton has a lead of over a second on Austin Cindric.

The caution flag comes out with just four laps remaining in the race when Joe Graf Jr gets into the wall.  The caution erases a lead of over a second and a half for Harrison Burton.

With only eleven cars on the lead lap, the leaders come down pit road for fresh tires.  Austin Cindric wins the race off of pit rod with Harrison Burton coming out in second after a slow pit stop.  Ryan Sieg stayed out on the track.

Ryan Sieg brings the field down for a two lap overtime shootout.  The drivers get three wide across the track.  Austin gets out in front just as Jesse Little spins out and brings out the caution flag.

According to timing and scoring, Ryan Sieg is the leader and will bring the field to green on the second overtime start.

Alex Labbe ran out of gas on the track and has to be moved from the track before the race can go to green.

Brandon Jones wins his third race in overtime for his second Kansas win in a row.  Jones ran the Truck Series, the ARCA race, and the Xfinity Series races this weekend.
