During the triple header weekend that brought the Gander Outdoors and RV Truck Series, the Xfinity Series, and the NASCAR Cup Series to Atlanta Motor Speedway speeding penalties and inspection issues plagued the races.

On June 9, NASCAR issued three penalties to teams in the Gander Truck and Xfinity Series for lug nut infractions.

In the Xfinity Series, the number 19 Joe Gibbs Racing car driven by Brandon Jones was found to have one lug nut improperly secured during post race inspection following the EchoPark 250.  Crew chief Jeff Meendering has been fined $5,000.

In the Gander Truck Series the Kyle Busch Motorsports number 18 truck driven by Christian Eckes and the number 56 Hill Motorsports truck driven by Timmy Hill also had a lug nut improperly secured in post race inspection following the Vet Tix Camping World 200.  KBM crew chief Ryan Fugle and HMS crew chief Greg Ely were each fined $2,500 as a result of the infractions.
