After a rain delay in the Cup Series pushed a Wednesday race to ta Thursday race, the Xfinity Series moved a Saturday race to a Monday race for 300 laps around the high banked short track at Bristol Motor Speedway.

While the drivers will be making 15 second laps around the track in Thunder Valley,, the Busch brothers – Kurt and Kyle – will join Adam Alexander in the broadcast studio in Charlotte to call the race.

As NASCAR continues to run the races with no practice or qualifying runs, the field is being set by random draw and car owner points.  Harrison Burton will sit on the pole and bring the field to green.

And if there wasn’t enough excitement for the drivers…this is the qualifier for the first Dash-4-Cash race in Atlanta on Saturday.

NASCAR has called for a competition caution on lap 35.

Stages one and two of the race are 85 laps each with stage three lasting 130 laps for a total of 300 laps around the half mile track.

During pace laps, NASCAR brings the field down pit road so that the teams can mark pit road speeds.  During the Cup Series race on Sunday, 21 speeding penalties were issued during the race.

Harrison Burton brings the field down for the green flag start of the race from the inside lane with team mate Brandon Jones starting alongside on the front row.  Harrison Burton jumps out in front for the lead while drivers are wiggling, bumping the wall, and getting three wide on the track.

Lap five, Harrison Burton leads the race with team mate Brandon Jones in second; Justin Haley, Austin Cindric, and Ross Chastain round out the top five..

The caution flag comes out on lap six for a big crash involving Ross Chastain and Austin Cindric.  Michael Annett was also involved.  Michael Annett and Austin Cindric are out of the race.

Harrison Burton brings the field down for the green flag restart on lap 16 and continues to lead the race.

Lap 17 Brandon Jones is challenging for the lead before Justin Haley takes over the second spot.

Lap 21, the top five are Harrison Burton, Justin Haley, Noah Gragson, Ryan Sieg, and Chase Briscoe.

Brandon Jones has dropped to 10th place.

Ross Chastain comes down pit road for an unscheduled pit stop.

With a lead of over half a second on Justin Haley, leader Harrison Burton has already put several cars a lap down; there are 27 cars on the lead lap.

At the end of lap 35 NASCAR put out the yellow flag for the competition caution.  Teams can bring their cars down pit road for service and fuel; however, the teams only have four sets of tires in the pits for this race.

Harrison Burton brings the field down for the green flag restart on lap 43 and holds on to his lead with Noah Gragson in second; Ryan Sieg Chase Briscoe, and Justin Haley round out the top five with 25 cars on the lead lap.

Lap 47, Noah Gragson has taken the lead and pulled out to a third of a second lead on Harrison Burton; Chase Briscoe, Justin Haley, and Justin Allgaier round out the top five.

Lap 51, Noah Gragson has pulled out to a half second lead on Harrison Burton.

Alex Labbe, Ross Chastain, Stephen Leicht, Jeff Green, and Mason Massey are all off the track with Michael Annett and Austin Cindric out of the race.

The caution flag comes out on lap 62 when Joe Nemechek smacks the wall.

Noah Gragson brings the field down for the green flag restart on lap 69 and edges ojt in front of Chase Briscoe for the lead; Justin Allgaier, Chase Briscoe, Justin Haley, and Ryan Sieg round out the top five.

Ross Chastain returns to the track 35 laps down.

Lap 75, Noah Gragson has a lead of over half a second on Justin Allgaier; Chase Briscoe, Justin Haley, and Ryan Sieg round out the top five.

Daniel Hemric was caught speeding on pit road.

Lap 100, Harrison Burton leads the race with Justin Haley in second; Chase Briscoe, Noah Gragson, and Justin Allgaier round out the top five.

The caution flag comes out on lap 103 when Timmy Hill spins out and makes contact with Vinnie Miller.

During his pit stop, the air gun came loose from the hose and caused Noah Gragson to have a slow pit stop.

Harrison Burton brings the field down for the green flag restart on lap 109 and edges out Justin Allgaier to hold on to the lead; Justin Haley, Brandon Jones, and Noah Gragson round out the top five.

Joe Nemechek is out of the race.  Jesse Little and Ronnie Bassett Jr are off the track.

Lap 117, Harrison Burton leads the race with Justin Allgaier less than two tenths of a second behind; Justin Haley, Noah Gragson, and Brandon Jones round out the top five.  There are 23 cars on the lead lap.

The caution flag comes out on lap 123 after AJ Allmendinger spins out after making contact with Kody Vanderwal.

Lap 135, Justin Allgaier has pulled out to a half second lead on Harrison Burton; Noah Gragson, Justin Haley, and Brandon Jones round out the top  five.

Tommy Jo Martins gets into the wall but the track stays green.

Alex Labbe, Jeff Green, Ronnie Bassett Jr, and Stephen Leicht are out of the race.

Lap 140, Justin Allgaier has pulled out to a lead of a second on Harrison burton.

Lap 142, the caution flag comes out when Patrick Emerling spins out and ends up hitting both the inside and outside walls.  This was Emerling’s first Bristol race for a new team.

NASCAR  has displayed the red flag and stopped the cars on the track.

During the red flag, Justin Haley’s crew are playing air sports on pit road to pass the time.

After a 10 minute red flag condition, NASCAR displays the caution flag and the cars are moving once again with Justin Allgaier leading the way.  A few drivers come down pit road for service and adjustments.

Justin Allgaier brings the field down for the green flag restart on lap 147 from the inside lane and jumps out in front for the lead with Noah Gragson in second; Harrison Burton, Justin Haley, and Brandon Jones round out the top five.

The sun has begun to set and the lights are on in Bristol.

Halfway, Justin Allgaier leads the race with Noah Gragson a little under a half second behind.

Lap 157, there are 21 cars on the lead lap with no car just one lap down.  Justin Allgaier has pulled out to a lead of nearly a second on Noah Gragson.

Lap 186, Justin Allgaier leads the race with Noah Gragson a quarter of a second back; Bradnon Jones, Justin Haley, and Ryan Sieg round out the top five.

Ryan Sieg did not make a pit stop and is running on old tires; he is dropping through the field and is currently in ninth.

Lap 197, Justin Allgaier has a lead of nearly half a second on Noah Gragson with Justin Haley nearly two seconds bac; Brandon Jones and Daniel Hemric round out the top five.

Lap 206, Justin Allgaier has pulled out to a one second lead on Noah Gragson; Justin Haley, Brandon Jones, and Daniel Hemric round out the top five.

Lap 211, AJ Allmendinger has to make an unscheduled trip down pit road for a possible flat tire.

Lap 115, there are only 16 cars on the lead lap.
Lap 117, Justin Allgaier has a one second lead on Justin Haley and Noah Gragson who are swapping back and forth for second.

Lap 225, Justin Allgaier has a lead of over a second on Justin Haley; Noah Gragson, Brandon Jones, and Chase Briscoe round out the top five.

Leader Justin Allgaier is mowing them down; there are only 12 cars on the lead lap with eight drivers out of the race.

Lap 239, Justin Haley has closed to within half a second of leader Justin Allgaier; Noah Gragson, Brandon Jones, and Chase Briscoe round out the top five with eleven cars on the lead lap.

Lap 246, Tommy Joe Martins brings out the caution flag after spinning out.

With just 45 laps remaining in the race, Riley Herbst brings the field down for the green flag restart and goes nose to nose with Justin Allgaier before making contact with Allgaier and Justin Haley bringing out the caution flag.  Colby Howard was also involved in the wreck.

With 25 laps remaining in the race, Justin Allgaier has a half second lead on JR Motorsports team mate Noah Gragson; Justin Haley, Chase Briscoe, and Daniel Hemric round out the top five.

Ryan Sieg is slowed on the track with a front tire but gets doen pit road; Justin Haley also had to make an unscheduled pit stop.

Eighteen laps to go, Justin Allgaier has pulled out to a second lead on Noah Gragson; Chase Briscoe, Harrison Burton and Myatt Snider round out the top five.

The top four finishers will qualify for the Dash-4-Cashe race in Atlanta for a chance to win $100,000.
The eleventh caution flag comes out with 13 laps to go in the race for Colby Howard.

Justin Allgaier brings the field down for the green flag restart with only seven laps remaining in the race.  AllGaier edges out Noah Gragson for the lead with Chase Briscoe, Harrison Burton, and Brandon Jones rounding out the top five.

The caution flag will send the race into overtime.
