After a rain delay in the Cup Series pushed a Wednesday race to ta Thursday race, the Xfinity Series moved a Saturday race to a Monday race for 300 laps around the high banked short track at Bristol Motor Speedway.
While the drivers will be making 15 second laps around the track in Thunder Valley,, the Busch brothers – Kurt and Kyle – will join Adam Alexander in the broadcast studio in Charlotte to call the race.
As NASCAR continues to run the races with no practice or qualifying runs, the field is being set by random draw and car owner points. Harrison Burton will sit on the pole and bring the field to green.
And if there wasn’t enough excitement for the drivers…this is the qualifier for the first Dash-4-Cash race in Atlanta on Saturday.
NASCAR has called for a competition caution on lap 35.
Stages one and two of the race are 85 laps each with stage three lasting 130 laps for a total of 300 laps around the half mile track.
During pace laps, NASCAR brings the field down pit road so that the teams can mark pit road speeds. During the Cup Series race on Sunday, 21 speeding penalties were issued during the race.
Harrison Burton brings the field down for the green flag start of the race from the inside lane with team mate Brandon Jones starting alongside on the front row. Harrison Burton jumps out in front for the lead while drivers are wiggling, bumping the wall, and getting three wide on the track.

The caution flag comes out on lap six for a big crash involving Ross Chastain and Austin Cindric. Michael Annett was also involved. Michael Annett and Austin Cindric are out of the race.
Harrison Burton brings the field down for the green flag restart on lap 16 and continues to lead the race.
Lap 17 Brandon Jones is challenging for the lead before Justin Haley takes over the second spot.
Lap 21, the top five are Harrison Burton, Justin Haley, Noah Gragson, Ryan Sieg, and Chase Briscoe.
Brandon Jones has dropped to 10th place.
Ross Chastain comes down pit road for an unscheduled pit stop.
With a lead of over half a second on Justin Haley, leader Harrison Burton has already put several cars a lap down; there are 27 cars on the lead lap.
At the end of lap 35 NASCAR put out the yellow flag for the competition caution. Teams can bring their cars down pit road for service and fuel; however, the teams only have four sets of tires in the pits for this race.

Lap 47, Noah Gragson has taken the lead and pulled out to a third of a second lead on Harrison Burton; Chase Briscoe, Justin Haley, and Justin Allgaier round out the top five.
Lap 51, Noah Gragson has pulled out to a half second lead on Harrison Burton.
Alex Labbe, Ross Chastain, Stephen Leicht, Jeff Green, and Mason Massey are all off the track with Michael Annett and Austin Cindric out of the race.

The caution flag comes out on lap 62 when Joe Nemechek smacks the wall.

During his pit stop, the air gun came loose from the hose and caused Noah Gragson to have a slow pit stop.

The caution flag comes out on lap 123 after AJ Allmendinger spins out after making contact with Kody Vanderwal.

Lap 142, the caution flag comes out when Patrick Emerling spins out and ends up hitting both the inside and outside walls. This was Emerling’s first Bristol race for a new team.
NASCAR has displayed the red flag and stopped the cars on the track.
During the red flag, Justin Haley’s crew are playing air sports on pit road to pass the time.
After a 10 minute red flag condition, NASCAR displays the caution flag and the cars are moving once again with Justin Allgaier leading the way. A few drivers come down pit road for service and adjustments.

The top four finishers will qualify for the Dash-4-Cashe race in Atlanta for a chance to win $100,000.
The eleventh caution flag comes out with 13 laps to go in the race for Colby Howard.
