Designer on the TLC reality series “Trading Spaces” Frank Bielec died May 15, 2020 in Houston, Texas as the result of a heart attack at the age of 72.
Appearing in 44 episodes of the series, Bielec had been a part of the show since it came on the air in 2000. The show ended in 2008. He participated in a cast reunion via Zoom last month and was a part of the 2018 reboot.
Besides his numerous appearances on “Trading Spaces”, Bielec appeared in an episode of “Trading Spaces: Family”, “Trading Spaces: Home Free”, and was the voice of Chef Best in “Elf Sparkle and the Special Red Dress”.
When not a part of “Trading Spaces”, the holder of degrees in art, Bielec owned a crafting company – Mosey ‘N Me with his wife. He also worked as a florist and an elementary school teacher.
Frank Enos Bielec Jr. was born on September 24, 1947 in Wallis, Texas.
Survivors include his wife Judy.
