The coaches and their teams open this week of “The Voice” with their own rendition of “Everyday People” as a tribute to all those working during the pandemic.

The singers are just one week away from the finale and the end to another season.

It’s fan week on “The Voice” and the show will be checking in with fans throughout the show.

Team Blake’s instant save Joanna Serenko got the night of competition started off with her performance of “Lean on Me” for her sister.  Former coach Nick said that Joanna was incredible; adding that he is a fan.  John loved the heart, soul, and honesty in Joanna’s performances.  Coach Blake said that her voice floats like a butterfly.

Host Carson Daly announced that the top vote getter from each team moves on to the finale with the remaining five singers competing for the final spot with an instant save performance.  This will mark the first time that all four of the coaches will be represented in the finals and that there will be five singers in the finals.

Team Kelly’s Micah Iverson dedicates his performance of “I Will Follow You into the Dark” by Death Cab for Cutie to his coach Kelly Clarkson.  Nick noted that having to do the shows from home has forced the singers to be creative; adding that Micah is very creative and gave an awards program performance.  Kelly noted that Micah is always learning; adding that he is a great vocalist and artist.

Team Blake’s Todd Tilghman performs at his church…where it all began.  The father of eight  dedicated his performance of “Love Me” to his children.  A screaming Kelly said that if she could sing like a man, she would want Todd’s voice; adding that he is amazing.  Coach Blake liked that he saw a different side of Todd.

Country star Kane Brown comes to “The Voice” for a performance of his new single “Cool Again”.

Team Legend’s Zan Fiskum notes that everyone’s individuality with their homes.  She is performing the Camilla Cabello song “Never Be the Same”.  Nick noted that it is not an easy song to sing but her performance was well done.  Coach John Legend noted that Zan was very involved in the arrangements of her songs; adding that few singers can accomplish what Zan is doing.

Team Nick’s Thunderstorm Artis dedicated his song “Home” by Michael Buble to his new wife Faith.  The two were married on Good Friday – April 10.  Blake liked the guitar work; adding that Thunderstorm made the song his own.  Coach Nick agreed that Thunderstorm has made everything his own and has carved his path to the finale.

Team Kelly’s Megan Danielle chose the Rascal Flatts song “What Hurts the Most” and is dedicating it to her siblings.  Kelly called Megan magical with a distinct tone; adding that every time she opens her mouth, Megan sounds like a broken heart trying to fly.

Singer and rapper Doja Cat performs her single “Say So”.

Team Nick’s Allegra Miles dedicates her performance of “Overjoyed” by Stevie Wonder to her 92 year old Grandma.  John said, “Allegra, you sang that song!”.  He called it an All Star performance.  Coach Nick said that Allegra came out swinging; adding it was one of her best performances yet.

Grammy Award winning singer and “The Voice” mega coach James Taylor and son Andrew give a performance of the classic “Moon River”.

Team Blake’s Toneisha Harris dedicated her performances of the Celine Dion hit “Because You Love Me” to her husband of 24 years.  Kelly invited Toneisha to perform the song on the stage at her Las Vegas show next year.  Coach Blake noted it was an awesome thing for Kelly to do; adding that if he ever gets to do a show again, she can sing with him too.  Blake said that Toneisha deserves to be in the finale.

Closing out the night of music is Team Legend’s CammWess with a performance of “Rainbow” by Kacey Musgraves that he is dedicating to one of his cousins.  John said that CammWess’ voice is honey butter.

On the Tuesday results show the final five will be revealed.
