In previous years the Razzie Awards were held on the night before the annual Academy Awards. In 2020, the 40th annual Razzie Awards celebrating the worst of Hollywood were held at a private ceremony on March 15 in what they are calling the “lock down edition”.
The monster re-imagined film production of the hit Broadway musical “Cats” topped the list of winners with six after flopping at the box office. The Sylvester Stallone film “Rambo: Last Blood” came in at a distant second with two awards.
The Razzies closed out the 2020 Hollywood Awards season by presenting the Golden Raspberry to the worst productions and performers in the film world.
