On April 5 the Academy of Country Music Awards will present their 55th annual ACM Awards with reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year winner Keith Urban serving as host for the gala event in Las Vegas. This will be Urban’s first time at hosting the awards gala.

Country music duo Dan + Shay lead the list of nominations with five; with Dan earning an extra nomination; after working with Canadian pop star Justin Bieber the duo has four nominations for the hit “10,000 Hours”. The group Old Dominion have also earned five nominations with band members Matthew Ramsey, Trevor Rosen and Brad Tursi each earned a sixth nomination for writing “One Man Band”. Other artists who have earned multiple nominations are Thomas Rhett, Dan Huff, Maren Morris, and Blake Shelton.
