After a wild ride in Daytona, the Xfinity Series travels to Las Vegas for the Boyd Gaming 300.
After persistent rain showers canceled qualifying, the field was set by the NASCAR rule book which set the field according to car owner points putting Myatt Snider on the pole but after a crash during practice put Snider in a backup car, he had to move to the back of the field to start the race.

After a delay of over 90 minutes, the drivers finally get on the track.
NASCAR has called for a competition caution at lap 20.
Stages one and two of the race are 45 laps each with stage three lasting 110 laps for a total of 200 laps around the mile and a half track. The drivers can run 52 to 54 laps on a load of fuel.

Chase Briscoe and Harrison Burton bring the field down for the green flag start of the race with Harrison Burton getting out in front for the lead as drivers gets three wide across the track.

Lap six, Justin Allgaier leads the race wth Harrison Burton, Chase Briscoe, Daniel Hemric, And Austin Cindric rounding out the top five.
Lap 12, Justin Allgaier has a lead of over half a second on Chase Briscoe.
Lap 18, Justin Allgaier continues to lead the race with Chase Briscoe in second.
The caution flag comes out on lap 19 when Daniel Hemric spins out hitting the wall. Hemric was in fourth place when he crashed.
NASCAR has deemed this caution as the competition caution. Drivers bring their cars down pit road for service.

Chase Briscoe wins the race off of pit road.
Race leader Justin Allgaier had a slow pit stop after coming I to his pit box too close to the wall, making it difficult for his crew to service the car. Allgaier comes back out on the track in thirteenth place.
After staying out on the track, Ryan Sieg brings the field down for the green flag restart on lap 23 but it is Chase Briscoe who jumps out in front to take the lead.
The drivers quickly get three wide a ross the track.
The top five are Chase Briscoe, Brandon Jones, Noah Gragson, Ross Chastain, and Ryan Sieg.
After restarting the race in thirteenth, Justin Allgaier has moved into the top 10 in sixth place in only two laps.
Lap 27, Chase Briscoe has a lead of nearly half a second on Brandon Jones; Ross Chastain, Noah Gragson, and Austin Cindric round out the top five.
After staying out on the track during the caution at lap 19, Ryan Sieg has dropped back to twentieth place with 18 laps remaining in stage one.

Lap 47, the drivers bring their cars down pit road for service with Chase Briscoe winning the race off of pit road.
FOX broadcasters report that there is more bad weather in the area. Under new NASCAR rules, a race is considered official once it has reached one lap past halfway or at the end of stage two, whichever comes first.
Under the caution flag, the rains begin again on lap 50.
Noah Gragson was caught speeding on pit road. He also has a bit of a leaky window.
NASCAR brings the cars down pit road on lap 51.
When NASCAR calls the race due to rain on lap 51 Joe Graf Jr is the leader of the race with Chase Briscoe in second.
Now ending under the lights with clear skies above, the drivers are ready to take to the track again for the remainder o the race.
Some of the teams come down pit road for adjustments after the change in track conditions. There are some drivers in the race who have just come from racing 400 miles in the Cup race.
After a few warmup laps, the drivers are ready to go.
