Magic: The Gathering became a member of the National Toy Hall of Fame in 2019; on March 14, The Strong Museum – the home of the National Toy Hall of Fame – will present a workshop on how to play the role playing card game.
Children ages 10 to 15 can enter the magical world of “Magic: The Gathering” at a special workshop with experts from the Rochester store Just Games. From 2 to 5pm visitors will learn how to play the role playing game filled with mythical characters.
The workshop is a ticketed event intended for children with a charge of $15. While an adult is required to be present with their child, there is no fee for the adult. Tickets for the workshop are available online at museumofplay.org and are non-refundable.
On March 20 and 21, meet Belle, Rapunzel, and Snow White when Princess Palooza comes to The Strong.
