The name Dueling Pianos conjures up a number of images from two guys battling it out in song to a musical performance that covers a wide variety of music.

It was the latter when Rob and Sandy brought their act to the Hard Rock Cafe in Niagara Falls, New York on February 7 for their first visit the Cafe.

Armed with three keyboards and a very large repertoire of songs, the duo spent the night as a human jukebox performing requests from the audience. The tops of their baby grand piano shells were littered with request slips that sometimes contained more than one song.

After opening the night with the Sir Elton John hit “Bennie and the Jets”, the St. Catherine’s, Ontario duo took turns performing pop, rock, country, hip-hop, and rap songs including “Sailing”, “I Want You to Want Me”, “Take it Easy”, “What’s New Pussy Cat?”, “Rainbow Connection”, “Brown Eyed Girl”, “Friends in Low Places”, “Rocketman”, “Margaritaville”, “Proud Mary”, “Sweet Caroline”, “Sultans of Swing”, “Before He Cheats” with a guest singer, “Good as Hell” by Lizzo, “Crocodile Rock”, “Daydream Believer”, “Shallow”, “Piano Man”, “Stand By Me”, “Old Time Rock and Roll”, “I’m a Believer”, “Sweet Child of Mine”, “Feel Like a Woman”, and ending the night with “Don’t Stop Believing”.

Rob and Sandy have been performing together for over 10 years and can not only play off of each other well; they can change up lyrics and offer up some comic relief during the show. And this time they had a little extra help when a guest singers joined them on stage for a few songs by female singers.

The guys of Dueling Pianos provided a night filled with fun and music.
