Later this year, hard rockers Def Leppard will be hitting the road with Poison, Motley Crue, and Joan Jett for a “Stadium Tour”; but before that, they will be releasing a boxed set of music from “The Early Years”.
Set for a March 20 release, “The Early Years 79-81” the set is being called “the definitive collection” of music from the early years of the band.
The five CD package features music from the band’s first two albums – “On Through the Night” and “High ‘N’ Dry”, previously unreleased live performances, some B-sides, and rarities.
Speaking on the collection, lead singer Joe Elliott said, “well the fans asked, and we listened.” Adding, “it’s been a trip putting this boxset together and I hope you all enjoy listening to it as much as we did working on it!”
The albums were remastered for the package but are also being offered as a single album in CD, vinyl, and a limited edition coloured vinyl.
