Independent rocker Stephen Malkmus has planned a tour of North America this spring
He has a new album – “Traditional Techniques” – set for a March 6 release and will be touring to support the new project and bringing some new band mates along when album collaborators Chris Funk and Matt Sweeney join the tour. Brad Truax, Jake Morris, Qais Essar, and Eric Zang will round out the band.
This summer Malkmus will be reuniting with his band mates in Pavement for a few shows.
