From the early days of the James Bond films, a celebrity music artist has provided the theme song. Over the years Dame Shirley Bassey, Carly Simon, Duran Duran, Sir Tom Jones, Nancy Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, Sir Paul McCartney and Wings, Lulu, Sheena Easton, Rita Coolidge, A-Ha, Gladys Knight, Tina Turner, Sheryl Crow, kd lang, Garbage, Madonna, Adele, and Sam Smith have all recorded theme songs for the James Bond films.

Award winning singer Billie Eilish will be joining the list of Bond singers when she contributes her voice to the newest James Bond film. The 18 year old teen will become the youngest artist ever to compose and perform a theme song for the legendary film franchise.

“No Time to Die” will premiere in the United States on April 10. The as yet titled song was penned by Eilish and her brother Finneas.

Via a statement, Eilish said, “it feels crazy to be a part of this in every way. To be able to score the theme song to a film that is part of such a legendary series is a huge honor. James Bond is the coolest film franchise ever to exist. I’m still in shock.”
