Country music fans are used to seeing several of their idols share the stage with each other along with a few new comers during a tour. But rock fans have long seen big music stars tour solo or with just one opening act, usually an up and coming band.

But next summer when the massive “stadium tours” begin, hard rock fans are going to get a full load of rock and roll in one show.

Motley Crue and Poison will be joined by Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Def Leppard and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts for a big summer Stadium Tour beginning in June.

Originally salted for a 20 stop U.S. tour, after over 700,000 tickets were sold in the first couple of days – including the fastest sellout of Miller Park in the history of the venue -, more dates have been added to the tour.

When they made their “Farewell Tour”, members of Motley Crue signed an agreement that they would not “come out of retirement” to tour again. But the rowdy rockers have torn up the agreement and are getting ready to pack up the gear and hit the road again.
