On this Monday night edition of “The Voice” 10 acts will take the stage but on the Tuesday results show only eight will survive as the season is quickly drawing to the end.

Blake and Gwen each have two acts remaining on their teams; while Kelly and John have three acts on their teams. With the 13th singer, Kelly had four singers on her team; as a result, John Legend is the only coach who still has all of his team member in tact.

Team Gwen’s Rose Short gets the night started off after bringing her parents to rehearsals this week. Rose sang Blake’s hit song “God’s Country” and made the song her own. After bringing the house to their feet, host Carson Daly said that Rose’s rendition made Blake’s version sound like the demo. Blake loved what Rose did; calling it incredible and made think about his version. Kelly also thought the performance was incredible. Coach Gwen said the song was perfect for the moment. Rose’s mom suggested the song.

Team Legend’s Marybeth sang the new Selena Gomez song “Lose You to Love Me”. John brought his team to his home this week where they met the family. Kelly said that it sounded beautiful. Gwen said that she was floored by the performance; adding that she was just thinking about Marybeth and how she made the song hers. A happy John noted that Marybeth didn’t over sing; adding it was her most artistic performance this season.

Team Blake’s Kat Hammock sang the Shania Twain hit “You’re Still the One”. Gwen called the performance magical; adding that she is the most original person on the show right now. John noted that every time Kat sings, she makes the song her own. Saying that he is running out of compliments, Blake called it his new favourite song from Kat.

Award winning Country music star Kane Brown comes to “The Voice” stage to perform his song “Homesick”.

Team Kelly’s instant save Shane Q sang his dad’s favourite song, “Caribbean Queen” by Billy Ocean. John loved the passion and the energy in the performance. Kelly loved how Shane is coming out of his shell; adding that he is so gifted as a singer.

Team Kelly’s Jake Hoot got personal this week with Trace Adkins “That Ain’t My Truck” for his cousin who was killed in Afghanistan. Kelly was up dancing all through the song. Carson called it a heck of a performance. Gwen called it his best performance yet; adding that he is an ordinary guy with an extraordinary voice. Blake noted that Kelly is doing an incredible job; adding Jake is killing it. Kelly said that it is like watching Jake at one of his shows.

Team Gwen’s Joana Martinez chose the Christina Aguilera song “Impossible”. John said that Joana owned the moment; adding that her maturity is beyond her years. Gwen said that she has to keep reminding herself that Joana is just 16; adding that she manhandled the stage.

Team Legend’s Katie Kaden chose the Adele song “Rolling in the Deep”. Carson noted that Katie got the room fired up…real quick. Blake felt that it was a set up, that nobody could be that good and not have a record deal. Kelly noted that Katie makes everyone happy. John said that his family flew in and immediately wanted to meet Katie.

Team Kelly’s duo Hello Sunday chose the Demi Lovato song “Stone Cold”. Coach Kelly called the performance beautiful.

Team Blake’s Ricky Duran chose “Born Under a Bad Sign” by Blues legend Albert King while he rocked it out on the guitar. In rehearsals, Blake said that Ricky is going to fry the face off of your skulls. John called Ricky incredible; adding that he is truly a fan and expects Ricky to go very far. Blake said that he wants everybody to re-watch the performance and not find something magical about the performance. Adding that if Ricky is not in the finale, he will kiss their collective butts..

Closing out the night of music is Team Legend’s Will Breman chose “My Body” by Young the Giant for his very energetic performance. John Legend accompanied his team members on the piano during rehearsals. With the coaches on their feet, John was jumping up and down. Kelly just wanted to know where Will was playing so she could show up. Gwen agreed with Kelly; adding that the music lives inside of Will and he just has to let it out. John called it his favourite performance; adding that Will slayed it and it was masterful.

On Tuesday results show the eight semifinalists will be revealed.
