While he has stopped touring and performs live infrequently, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member Eric Clapton has planned a one time special performance to celebrate the life and music of his friend and former Cream band mate Ginger Baker who recently died at the age of 80.

Eric Clapton and Friends: A Tribute to Ginger Baker is set for February 17 at the Eventim Apollo Hammersmith in London. Tickets are on sale now.

The “Friends” will be revealed at a later date but the show will feature music by Cream and Blind Faith.

Proceeds from the concert will go to the charity organization Leonard Cheshire – a group that aids persons living with disabilities.

The duo first appeared on the British music scene in 1966 with Jack Bruce in the form of Cream. The band only lasted a few years but helped to mold the face of rock music around the world for generations to come.
