Closing out the month of October’s music at the Hard Rock Cafe in Niagara Falls was the western New York band Swill with some original rock music.

But before Swill took the stage the Long Island band Long Pilot took the stage in their first visit to the Hard Rock Cafe in western New York.
Performing a mix of original songs and cover tunes, the set list included “Better Off”, “Sat it Ain’t So”, “Rolling on Home”, “Santeria”, and “Goodbye Sunshine”.
These days even the original rock band often perform a cover tune or two, but the guys in Swill perform exclusively original songs. And with three CD’s out they had plenty of songs to choose from when they rocked the house for their Hard Rock Cafe performance on October 26.
Swill is a well rehearsed band who perform well together and plays straight up rock music; but it is the softer side of rock, songs that are often referred to as “power ballads”.
Along with music from their CD’s, the band threw in a few new songs for a teaser of things to come on the next album.
Over two sets Swill performed “On the Floor”, “Broken Radio”, “Can’t Take it Away”, “Git Yer Drink On”, “Mid Life Crisis”, “A Little Time for Me”, “Wide Open”,”Pearl”, “Sturgis”, “Can’t”, “Voyeur”, “Falling Into You”, “Lucky”, “Bad Girl”, “Make it Through”, “Favorite Fix”, “Times Up”, “The Line, “Into My Eyes”, “The Case”, “Tidal Wave”, “Don’t Want to Know”, “Dreamin’”, and “Full Circle”.
