On October 24 Dick Clark Productions revealed the nominees for the American Music Awards. Hip-Hop artist Post Malone leads the way with seven nominations. Ariana Grande and Billie Eilish each received six nods with Little Nas X, Taylor Swift, Billy Ray Cyrus, Ella Mai, Khalid, BTS, Dan + Shay, Drake, Halsey, Lizzo, Luke Combs, an Panic! At the Disco all received multiple nominations. Bradley Cooper, Carrie Underwood, Chris Brown, the Jonas Brothers, Kane Brown, Lady Gaga, Marshmello, P!nk, Shawn Mendes, Swae Lee, and Travis Scott each received two nominations each.
The 2019 edition of the American Music Awards will be held November 24 in Los Angeles.
The current record holder for the most AMA’s is Michael Jackson with 24; however pop princess Taylor Swift is right on his heels with 23 and can surpass Jackson if she wins just two of her five nominations.
