It’s the first race in the Round of Eight when the Xfinity Series travels to Kansas Speedway for the Kansas Lottery 300.

After single car qualifying, Christopher Bell put his number 20 on the pole and will bring the field to green with Brandon Jones alongside on the front row.

Stages one and two of the race are 45 laps each with stage three lasting 110 laps for a total of 200 laps around the mile and a half track.

Christopher Bell brings the field down for the green flag start of the race and unlike last year when he crashed in the first turn, Bell gets out in front to lead the race.

Lap two, Tyler Reddick has already moved up to the top lane.

Lap four, Ryan Truex is on the apron with a smoking and flaming car bringing out the first caution flag of the race. Back in the garage, Ryan Truex said that he lost power steering and then blew up; adding that he had a top five car.

Christopher Bell brings the field down for the green flag restart on lap 12 and holds on to his lead with Austin Cindric in second.

Lap 17 Christopher Bell has a lead of over half a second on Cole Custer with Noah Gragson in third. Austin Cindric brushes the wall but the track stays green.

Lap 21, Christopher Bell continues to lead the race with 36 of the 38 cars that started the race still on the track and on the lead lap. JJ Yeley is off the track and Ryan

Turex is out of the race.

Lap 23, Christopher Bell has increased his lead to over a second on Cole Custer; Noah Gragson, Ross Chastain, and Tyler Reddick round out the top five.

Lap 32, Christopher Bell has a near one second lead on Cole Custer with Noah Gragson in third and getting a challenge from Tyler Reddick.

Lap 35, there are 22 cars on the lead lap with Christopher Bell leading the way. Bell has led every lap so far.

Lap 36, Austin Cindric makes an unscheduled trip down pit road with reports of a loose wheel.

Austin Cindric’s crew reports that there indeed was a loose wheel on his car.

Lap 41, Christopher Bell has a lead of over a second on Cole Custer with Noah Gragson in third over a second and a half back.

Leading every lap in the stage, Christopher Bell wins stage one for his 18th stage win and third playoff stage win of the season.

Lap 57, Cole Custer challenges Christopher Bell for the lead but so far, Bell holds on to the top spot.

Lap 68, Cole Custer finally gets around Christopher Bell for the lead. There are 19 cars on the lead lap with four cars out of the race.

The caution flag comes out on lap 71 when Harrison Burton hits the wall after being hit by Austin Cindric.

Cole Custer brings the field down for the green flag restart on lap 75 but it is Chirstopher Bell that gets out in front to retake the lead before Cole Custer takes the top spot.

Lap 79, Austin Cindric has to make an unscheduled trip down pit road with a flat tire.

Lap 80, Cole Custer has a half second lead over Christopher Bell with Ross Chastain in third; Justin Allgaier and Tyler Reddick round out the top five.

Lap 83, Cole Custer has increased his lead on Christopher Bell to over half a second with Justin Allgaier in third. Harrison Burton is out of the race.

Lap 86, Austin Cindric’s trouble continues; he has a smoking tire and has to make another trip down pit road.

Cole Custer wins stage two for his eighth stage win of the season.

Christopher Bells wins the race off of pit road.

Christopher Bell brings the field down for the green flag start of stage three with Cole Custer alongside on the top lane on lap 97. Christopher Bell takes the lead with drivers getting htree wide across the track.

Justin Allgaier gets nearly sideways on the track and Noah Gragson brushes the wall but the track stays green.

Lap 102, Cole Custer passes Christopher Bell to take the lead after Bell gets loose and loses momentum.

The Big Three” are leading the way with Cole Custer in the lead, Christopher Bell second, and Tyler Reddick third.

Lap 110, there are 19 cars on the lead lap with five cars out of the race.

Lap 117, Cole Custer has a lead of over a second on Christopher Bell with Tyler Reddick in third nearly two seconds back.

Despite leading over 65 laps, Christopher Bell is reporting that he is still having handling issues with his car.

After hitting the wall twice, Noah Gragson has to bring his car down pit road for repairs and fresh tires.

Lap 128, Cole Custer has less than a half second lead on Christopher Bell with Tyler Reddick in third. There are 13 cars on the lead lap.

Lap 132, Cole Custer has a lead of less than half a second on Christopher Bell; Tyler Reddick is in third over half a second back.

Lap 135, Christopher Bell challenges Cole Custer for the lead as the drivers encounter lapped traffic. There are only 10 cars on the lead lap.

Lap 143, Cole Custer has pulled out to a lead of over a second on Christopher Bell. Tyler Reddick is in third with only 10 cars on the lead lap.

The caution flag comes out on lap 146 when Michael Annett got into the wall.

Tyler Reddick was coming down pit road when the caution flag came out. Pit road was closed and Reddick had to continue down pit road without making a pit stop.

The drivers are in their pit window and make a stop for fresh tires and a load of fuel.

Cole Custer wins the race off of pit road. Christopher Bell had a bad stop and came out in fourth.

Michael Annet has to make another trip down pit road for repairs after hitting the wall.

Cole Custer brings the field down for the green flag restart with 49 laps remaining in the race. Chase Briscoe gets out in front for the lead. Cole Custer gets loose after a hit from Justin Haley and has to work his way back on the track. The track stays green.

Thirty eight laps to go, there are eleven cars on the lead lap with Chase Briscoe in the lead.

John Hunter Nemechek brings out the caution flag with 37 laps to go when he gets loose and spins out.

Michael Annett brings the field down for the green flag restart with 32 laps remaining in the race. In a three wide battle for the lead Chase Briscoe takes the lead with Christopher Bell in second and Tyler Reddick in third.

Ross Chastain gets into the wall but the track stays green.

Twenty five laps to go, Chase Briscoe is in the lead with Christopher Bell in second and moving up to challenge Briscoe. Cole Custer is in third nearly two seconds back.

Lap 179, Chase Briscoe is in the lead; Christopher Bell, Cole Custer, Tyler Reddick, and Brandon Jones round out the top five.

The caution flag comes out with 17 laps to go for a crash involving Christopher Bell, Chase Briscoe, and Garrett Smithley that caused significant damage to Bell’s car after making a run through the grass.

Cole Custer and Tyler Reddick are on the front row and will lead the field down for the green flag restart and a 10 lap shootout. Cole Custer and Tyler Reddick battle for the lead but it is Brandon Jones that gets out in front for the lead with Michael Annett in third.

The caution flag comes out with eight laps to go for Noah Gragson’s flat tire.

Brandon Jones wins the race for his first career win! Jones’ win doesn’t mix up the points standings but offers those at the bottom less of a chance to move on to the final four.
