The Xfinity Series goes home to Charlotte and The Roval at Charlotte Motor Speedway for their second playoff race of the season with the Drive for the Cure 250.

During practice some of the drivers had issues on the track with Michael Annett and Noah Gragson having to go to a backup car and will have to start the race from the back of the field.

After two rounds of qualifying with a time of 1: 23.232, Chase Briscoe wins the pole and will bring the field to green.

Stages one and two of the race are only 20 laps each with stage three lasting 27 laps for a total of 67 laps around the road course that encompasses the infield road course and the high banks of the oval.

After having to make a repair to the car after qualifying, Harrison Burton had to start the race from the back of the field.

Defending his title after last year’s win, Chase Briscoe brings the field down for the green flag start of the race with Tyler Reddick starting alongside on the front row. The drivers get three wide very quickly. Chase Briscoe edges out to take the lead.

Tyler Reddick misses the chicane and had to stop before he could continue. Drivers got bottled up behind him but the track stayed green.

Lap three, Chase Briscoe has pulled out to a four second lead. The caution flag comes out when David Starr gets stopped on the track with reports of a broken drive shaft.

Justin Haley is on pit road with track bar issues that must be repaired.

Chase Briscoe brings the field down for the green flag restart on lap six and holds on to his lead with Austin Cindric and Cole Custer right behind him. Several drivers got stacked up on the restart with a few drivers sustaining a bit of damage to their cars.

Lap 12, Chase Briscoe continues to lead the race with a one second lead on Austin Cindric.

Just Haley returns to the track after track bar reapairs, six laps down.

Lap 14, Chase Briscoe is in the lead with Austin Cindric, Cole Custer, AJ Allmendinger, and Christopher Bell rounding out the top five.

The back stretch chicane continues to be an issue for some of the drivers.

Lapa 16, Chase Briscoe has led every lap so far.

Short pitting, the team did not get the windshield tear off off of Tyler Reddick’s car.

Ryan Sieg spins out on the last lap of the stage but the track stays green.

After short pitting in stage one Cole Custer and Christopher Bell are on the front row and will bring the field down for the green flag start of stage two on lap 25 with Christopher Bell edging out for the lead.

Lap 26, Christopher Bell has a lead of nearly two seconds on Cole Custer. AJ Allmender gets around Custer for second place and is closing in on the leader.

Lap 27, AJ Allmendinger has closed the gap to less than a second on leader Christopher Bell.

Lap 29, Christopher Bell is in the lead with AJ Allmendinger, Cole Custer, Austin Cindric, and Chase Briscoe rounding out the top five.

Lap 34, AJ Allmendinger has closed the gap on leader Christopher Bell to less than half a second.

Lap 37, Christopher Bell has pulled out to a lead of over a second on AJ Allmendinger.

A few drivers short pit before the end of the stage including leader Christopher Bell and second place driver AJ Allmendinger.

Cole Custer is the new leader.

Christopher Bell and Austin Cindric bring the field down for the green flag start of stage three with 24 laps remaining in the race and the drivers quickly get four wide bringing out the caution flag. Ryan Truex and John Hunter Nemechek get turned around.

Cole Custer also has some damage to his car and has to come down pit road for repairs.

While he flat spotted the tires during the spin, John Hunter Nemechek does not have any damage to his car.

Ryan Sieg has to get pushed on to pit road.

Fifteen to go, AJ Allmendinger has pulled out to a one second lead on Christopher Bell.

After replacing the fuel pump, Ryan Sieg returns to the track three laps down.

Fifteen to go, AJ Allmendinger has increased his slead of a second and a half on Christopher Bell.

Eleven to go, AJ Allmendinger is still leading the way with a lead of nearly two seconds on Christopher Bell.

Chase Brisco and Christopher Bell make contact bringing out the caution flag with 10 laps remaining in the race. Christopher Bell missed the chicane making contact with Chase Briscoe and was forced off the chicane. Bell did not stop as the rules required; as a result, Bell will have to restart the race from the back of the field.

AJ Allmendinger, with Austin Cindric alongside, brings the field down for the green flag restart with just seven laps remaining in the race. Once again Allmendinger jumps out in front for the lead.

Brandon Jones gets turned around with Christopher Bell making an off road excursion through the grass but the track stays green.

The caution flag comes out when Ray Black Jr gets into the wall hard after making contact with Josh Williams.

A road course expert, AJ Allmendinger is there to win the race; he is not a regular series driver or in the playoffs.

AJ Allmendinger brings the field down for the green flag restart with only three laps remaining in the race. Allmendinger jumps out in front of Austin Cindric to take the lead and begins to pull away.

Harrison Burton, Preston Pardis, and Josh Bilicki all get turned around but the track stays green.

Two to go, AJ Allmendinger has a one second lead on Austin Cindric.
