It has been nearly 50 years since four young lads from Liverpool, England played together but they are just as popular, if not more so, than they were in the sixties. Beatles tribute and cover bands from all over the world perform the iconic songs.

Billed the Definitive Beatles Experience, Twist and Shout brought their Beatles show to the Bear’s Den Showroom at the Seneca Niagara Resort and Casino in Niagara Falls, New York on September 6.

There were no fancy props or elaborate equipment filling the stage; only four lads, drums, guitars, and a keyboard for a fun filled show of music.

A part of the Broadway show “Beatlemania”; Brad, Tom, Steve, and Tony performed an hour and a half show but the time passes so quickly that it seemed like they had barely begun when the show was over.

After opening the show with “Hard Day’s Night”; Twist and Shout performed over 20 songs including “She Loves You’, “All My Loving” “I Wanna Hold Your Hand”, “Help”, “Michelle”, “Roll Over Beethoven”, Eight Days a Week”, “Day Trippin’”, “I Saw Her Standing There”, “Yesterday” – the most covered song in the world, “You’ve Got to Hide Your Love Away”, “Yellow Submarine”, “Come Together”, “Get Back”, “While My Guitar Gently Weeps”, “Revolution”, “Back in the USSR”, “Lady Madonna”, and after many requests “Hey Jude” before closing out the show with the group’s namesake “Twist and Shout”.

With understandable lyrics and uncomplicated melodies, fans packed the house and were eager to sing along; joining in on the fun.
