On August 25, the Niagara Falls Music Hall of Fame announced the inductees for the 2019 class of Hall of Famers.

This year’s inductees were chosen from over 30 applications including the organization’s first female applicants.

The Dr. Samuel “Saxman” Morreale Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to Al Giambattista at the annual awards gala.

The NFMusicHOF induction ceremony returns to the historic Rapids Theatre on Sunday October 13 and is open to the public.

Applicants were judged on their performance history, musical contributions, and their dedication to helping the next generation of musicians.

A non-profit organization, the Niagara Falls Music Hall of Fame id dedicated to preserving the culture and heritage that is the music of western New York and specifically Niagara Falls. While best known for its thundering water falls, Niagara Falls is also rich with musical talent and musicians.

Tickets for the NFMusicHaOF are $20 and $30 in advance ($25 day of event for GA seats) and are available from the Rapids Theatre, D’Amico Music at 2307 Pine Ave, Lewiston Music at 791 Center St, Alder Creek Music at 2880 Niagara Falls Blvd, and the Lockport Music Center at 5996 Snyder Drive.

The Rapids Theatre is located at 1711 Main Street in Niagara Falls. The festivities begin at 2pm.
