On this last full month of summer, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has a number of events planned to celebrate Rock Hall members and appreciation of the fans.
The festivities kick off with a week marking the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the most recent class of Hall of Fame inductees with a spotlight on the connection between American football and rock and roll…beyond rockers performing during halftime at the annual Super Bowl game.
The Rock Hall offers an exhibit of football themed artifacts including a helmet worn by Roger Daltrey, and trivia questions for prizes.
From August 1 to 8, fans can hear “Stories of Rock” with football themed songs including music from some of the players’ favourite artists. The music is also available in “Rock Boxes” around Cleveland and on the Rock Hall’s Spotify page.
Beginning August 4, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is celebrating a few of its members with special Fan Days with uncut screenings of the members induction ceremony including all performances and speeches, see featured artifacts in the members’ Gallery, hear their music played in The Museum, and get a 10 percent discount on the featured artist’s merchandise in the Rock Hall store.
Fan Days artist schedule:
Aug 4 – Joan Jett and Heart
Aug 7 – Santana
Sept 10 – The Who
