2019 NFL Draft: Round 1

As the National Football League approaches its 100^th anniversary season, the owners gather in Nashville, Tennessee to choose the next generation of grid iron stars with the 2019 NFL Draft of collegiate athletes.

This year, the Arizona Cardinals will get the annual event started.

Over the next three days, the owners will participate in seven rounds of draft picks with round one getting started on the evening of April 25.

Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota, along with NFL Hall of Famers Joe Green and Jim Brown were a part of a giant prize give away – one super fan will receive two season passes for the next 100 years. A very excited Hampton family won the tickets, a golden football, and a football jersey representing his team the New York Giants with the name Hampton on the back.

The first player in the 2019 NFL Draft to be chosen is Heisman Trophy winner and Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray.

With the second pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the San Francisco 49ers chose defensive end Nick Bosa from Ohio State.

The New York Jets have chosen Alabama nose tackle Quinnen Williams for their first pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

For their first pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Oakland Raiders chose the Clemson defensive end Clelin Ferrell/

For their first pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers chose LSU linebacker Devin White.

The New York Giants choose Duke quarterback Daniel Jones for their first pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

The Jacksonville Jaguars chose Kentucky defensive end Josh Allen as their first pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

For their first pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Detroit Lions choose tight end T.J. Hockenson from Iowa.

The Buffalo Bills choose defensive tackle Ed Oliver form Houston for their first pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

The Pittsburgh Steelers made a trade with the Denver Broncos for their first pick in the 2019 NFL Draft and chose Michigan linebacker Devin Bush.

For their first pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Cincinnati Bengals choose Alabama tackle Jonah Williams.

The Green Bay Packers choose Michigan linebacker Rashan Gary for their first pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

The Atlanta Falcons choose Boston College guard Chris Lindstrom for their first pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

For their first pick in the 2019 NFL Draft the Washington Redskins chose Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins.

For their first pick in the 2019 NFL Draft the Carolina Panthers choose Florida State defensive end Brian Burns.

In a pick acquired from the Cleveland Browns as a part of a trade, the New York Giants choose defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence from Clemson.

After a trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Denver Broncos get their first choice in the 2019 NFL Draft and choose Iowa tight end Noah Fant.

In a trade with the Seattle Seahawks, the Green Bay Packers make another first round choice in the 2019 NFL Draft and pick Maryland defensive back Darnell Savage Jr.

In a trade with the Baltimore Ravens, the Philadelphia Eagles make their first pick in the 2019 NFL Draft and choose Washington State tackle Andre Dillard.

For their first pick in the 2019 NFL Draft the Houston Texans choose Alabama State tackle Tytus Howard.

With their second pick of the night, the Oakland Raiders choose Alabama running back Josh Jacobs. After the longest drought for running backs and wide receivers, Josh Jacobs is the first running back to be drafted in the 2019 NFL Draft.

After a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles, the Baltimore Ravens made their first pick in the 2019 NFL Draft and choose Oklahoma wide receiver Marquise Brown to make him the first wide receiver chosen in the 2019 NFL Draft.

In a trade with the Indianapolis Colts, the Washington Redskins choose Mississippi State defensive end Montez Sweat.

In their thrid first round pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Oakland Raiders choose Mississippi State defensive back Johnathan Abram.

For their pick in the 2019 NFL Draft the Los Angeles Chargers choose Notre Dame defensive tackle Jerry Tillery.

With the next two picks in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Seattle Seahawks choose TCU defensive end L.J. Collier and for their second pick the Seahawks have traded with the New York Giants.

With their third pick of the night, the New York Giants pick Georgia cornerback Deandre Baker. Baker is the first cornerback to be drafted in the 2019 NFL Draft.

In a trade with the Los Angeles Rams, the Atlanta Falcons make their second pick of the night when they choose Washington tackle Kaleb McGary.

In the final selection of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots choose Arizona State wide receiver N’Keal Harry.
