After two weeks of rained out qualifying, the Xfinity Series finally took to the track on Saturday – March 9 – morning to qualify for the iK9 Service Dog 200 at ISM Raceway in Phoenix.
After three rounds of qualifying, Christopher Bell puts his number 20 car on the pole with reigning Xfinity Series champion Tyler Reddick starting alongside on the front row.
Kevin Harvick and “That Jones Boy” Erik Jones will join Adam Alexander in the broadcast booth for the race.
Stages one and two of the race are 45 laps each with stage three lasting 110 laps for a total of 200 trips around the one mile track. With a fuel run of around 80 laps, the drivers can complete stage one and stage two without having to make a stop during the stage.
Christopher Bell brings the field down for the green flag and jumps out in front for the lead with Kyle Busch in second place.
With only 12 laps remaining in stage one, Bayley Currey brings out the first caution flag of the race when he gets into the wall. Christopher Bell has led every lap so far.

On lap 80 Christopher Bell passes Kyle Busch to take the lead of the race.

The caution flag comes out with 70 laps remaining in the race when Stephen Leicht’s car blows up and catches fire. Leicht leaves a huge trail of smoke in his wake. Justin Allgaier and Christopher Bell were caught up in the wreck. Christopher Bell is out of the race after the crash.

Kyle Busch brings the field down for the green flag restart with 58 laps remaining in the race. Kyle Busch holds on to his lead.
With 36 laps remaining in the race, Kyle Busch has a lead of over two seconds on second place driver Ryan Truex.
Ten to go and Kyle Busch has pulled out to a lead of over three seconds.

Kyle Busch wins the race for his second win in a row, his 94th Xfinity Series win, and win number 198 across the three NASCAR racing series. This was Busch’s eleventh win at ISM tying him with NASCAR Hall of Famer Mark Martin for the most wins at a single track.
