Finding ways to keep the young ones busy during their time off from school can sometimes be challenging, especially when the weather is frightful and playing outside is not an option.
But The Strong Museum is offering a few activities to occupy young minds.
On Saturday February 2 Clifford the Big Red Dog is stopping by The Strong for Clifford’s Valentine Fun. From 11am to 4pm visitors can take photos with Clifford, enjoy story time including a reading of “Clifford’s Valentine”, play games, and perform the Valentine Hop.
For the winter break February 16 to 24, Doc McStuffins has an exhibit to offer that will help young visitors learn some healthy habits and spend some time with Doc McStuffins in her backyard “clinic”.
Bring you favourite stuffed animal and check them out in the Play Pals exhibit in the GUND Teddy Bear Check-Up area where you can measure, weigh, and check their vital signs.
The Strong Museum is open Monday-Thursday from 10am to 5pm, Friday and Saturday from 10am to 8pm, and Sunday from noon to 5pm.
General admission to The Strong is free for members and children under two and $16 for everyone else. Admission to the Dancing Wings Butterfly Garden is $4 for members, $5 for non-members, and free for children under the age of two.
