The Strong Museum in Rochester, New York kicks off the month of December with a Ninja Warrior Challenge.
Visitors to The Strong on December 1 and 2 can run an obstacle course like those seen on the hit television series and meet one of the contestants from “American Ninja Warrior”.
The Warrior Factory in Rochester is providing an endurance course to test participant’s test their strength via jumping spinning, and hopping through the challenges.
There is also a junior version of the obstacle course for the younger visitors who wish to meet the challenge.
Warrior Factory founder Car Fantauzzo participated on the show four times. The Greece, New York resident will be on hand from 11am to 4pm on Saturday and 1pm to 4pm on Sunday to meet with visitors.
Visitors wishing to run the obstacle course sign a liability release form and be wearing closed toed shoes.
The following weekend on December 8 and 9, Frosty the Snowman comes to The Strong and is bringing some friends along for the fun.
Visitors can meet and take photos with Snowmen Frosty and Huggable who will be strolling about the museum.
The Rochester LEGO Users Group has created a winter village scene for visitor’s to view and enjoy.
Tacky the Penguin will be sharing a snowy story or cozy up in the Winter Reading Corner with a book. Or play a game of snowman bowling.
Visitors can craft a penguin using their hand print or create a colourful snowman.
On December 8 only, the New York State Ballet will perform preview of “The Nutcracker”.
